These look great on my truck. They were really simple to install. The install directions were not difficult to follow. Best of all, they are sturdy. More than those steps that mount directly to the rocker panels.

Once I figure out all the washers, install was fairly easy. Bars look good but functionality is minimal for me. Bars sit too high and close to cab. Stepping area could be an inch or so wider. Still, they look good.

The product itself seems sturdy and looks great. However, my 1990 F150 has a 2 inch leveling suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift. The bars hung down way too low when first installed and looked odd. Ended up ditching the spacers on the front bar brackets and buying two nuts to go onto the body mount bolts. Also had to notch out the bracket to fit level on the body mount/frame, and notch out the front bar to bracket hole to make the bar itself level. Finally, had to put a Z-bend in the bracket that attaches to seat belt bolt to make it line up. Not hard work with the right tools, but I snapped a body mount bolt trying to tighten it for more thread exposure. The lower part of the body mount was rusted solid and had to be cut off with a sawzall. That lead to making a body mount puller from 3" pipe and threaded rod, (see youtube) and a trip to the junk yard to get a new lower mount. Replaced the bolt with a grade 8 and a dab of ant-seize, so should be all good now.

They are great!! The fit perfect and did not take long to install. Read the instructions closely. there are four threaded nuts but they are 2 different sizes. I didn't pick that up initially in the instructions, after I went back it says it but doesn't really point out the differences. I got lucky and put them in the right spot the first time. All in all very happy
