I got these bars due to their extensive reviews and ratings amongst comparable products.Installation had a bit of a learning curve to start with, but if you skip the written directions and just use the diagrams as a guide, it goes fairly quickly. It took me about 90 mins to get both bars installed. It is fairly repetitive for all 3 mounts on each side, just flip flopped from the driver to passenger side. If you aren’t typically a DYI person with your truck, don’t be intimidated, you can do it.Quality: the overall quality is good and a bit better than what I’d expect for the price. The parts and pieces and labeled and easy to account for/know what each part is or what it’s used for. There were no issues with any of the parts in my order.Shipping: this would be the most annoying part for me. It was shipped UPS and legit sat at a transfer point for 4 days. I found that to be a bit annoying, since I had hoped it would come in while I had some free time. The quality of box and packing was superb though. The box had minimal bumps and bruises and there were no issues with the shipment, other than what was previously stated.Overall, this is a good buy if you’re looking for economical step bars. I’d suggest giving them a shot. Plus the bars appear to be in one piece construction which I hope will avoid any water holding issues in the future.

These were easy to install on my 2015 Ram 3500 . They are very sturdy and don't flex when I put my 245 lbs. on them. Very satisfied .

Read reviews and noticed multiple issues about difficulties with installation. Those reviews must be from people who are not at all mechanicaly inclined. Took me longer to unbox the well packed and protected parts than it did to do installation. Directions could be a little clearer, serve only as a guide, but once first bracket is installed, the rest go on with ease. Very easy to install, took less than 1 hour start to finish. Looks and functions great. If I did have an issue with them getting damaged I would buy again for sure.

I bought these fully aware that they could rust or get filled with water. they arent too bad. came together in one big box. no dents, no missing hardware. each bar is wrapped in different color plastic and labeled accordingly. Same with the brackets. had them hand tightened in about 30 min. I did watch some you tube videos, though, so i knew what i was getting into. I had enough room for mudflaps. maybe a 1/2" gap. Hardware and brackets seem pretty sturdy. They mount into preexisting holes in the body that are covered by tape at the factory. All hardware matched for me. nothing labeled wrong. If your truck was setup for factory side steps, all holes will line up, but your truck will already have a threaded insert at one hole, so you would need a different bolt for that one. my was not setup up for factory, so i was good. Now on to the design flaw that is probably causing the rust and water for everyone. 1st the plastic steps. They are not sealed well enough. underneath the steps, the metal is bent inward, the steps the are connected to the bottom of this "dent" with rivets and plastic rods molded into the back of the step. while this keeps the plastic step in place. it is not airtight. i have no doubt in my mind that if water is present, that water works its way in there. especially at driving speeds when it is raining or wet and even the car wash. since it has nowhere to go. the steps slowly fill up with water. I, hopefully, fixed this by prying up the plastic step a little bit and forcing some "great stuff" expanding foam insulation to waterproof it. only had the steps a couple of weeks, but have already got a ton of rain. time will tell. the other flaw, the hardware that attached the bottom of the sidestep to the bracket. potential water entry there. I just put a rubber washer under the other washers. hopefully that prevent water from that. As for hardware rusting complaints. havent had long enough to notice. As long as the black brackets, stay black, i honestly could care less if the bolt heads rust a bit. they are under the truck. out of sight, out of mind;)

I replaced a set of nerf bars on my RAM truck with these. I rated them easy to install because I installed them by myself in an afternoon without the aid of a lift. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself if you are not somewhat mechanically inclined. They do fit a little closer to the cab than my previous nerf bars.

I was looking for a set of running board for my truck when I found these. Reading some reviews, I decided to give these a try.The running boards arrived in excellent condition, no dings, scrapes, scratches, or rust.The installation was pretty quick. You just need to take the time to read the directions carefully before you start and sort your parts out.They have been on the truck for over a year now and could not be happier with my purchase. They are extremely well built. Installation was quick and easy. They even look clean when the truck has not been washed in a few weeks. (see photos) I have had no issues with quality, rust, or any other problems. The off-set is the right height for my family to get in and out of the truck with no issues. The step is comfortable for me to maneuver in and out. It is also handy to use to get to the inside of the bed close to the cab.
