This dead-blow hammer is not for the smaller jobs. At sixteen inches long and weighing in at five pounds, this hammer is meant for all the bigger jobs. It certainly delivers with each strike you give it. No vibration either when you strike something solid that isn't moving. The cross-hatch pattern on the handle gives you enough grip and no slipping, even with wet or greasy hands. I will be using this dead-blow hammer for all the big jobs I have and with the jobs my friends have for me.
