I was very surprised by the good quality of the entire Maxtek board system. It assembles quickly, it's sturdy, rolls easily, well balanced, and doesn't shake when I write on it. I also like that the adjustable "chart-paper" hooks accommodate all my pre-packaged Post-it charts, AND also hold my less expensive newsprint papers, which I use daily for planning and brainstorming. Nice to be able to quickly switch from expensive chart paper to the less-expensive newsprint( bulk, from Home Depot, sold for wrapping, packing and moving) for non-permanent note-taking during group sessions. Money-saving for me. I bought the larger board size so I could attach with magnets additional paperwork and visuals next to the usual chart paper. Also, the system came with a nice pack of white chart paper, dry-erase pens, magnets, and an eraser. Great deal, prompt delivery, and excellent Customer Service when I had a question. They recommend using only water-based dry-erase pens on white boards... probably good advice for all my other boards too.

I'm working on a bunch of different project at the same time - and most of them require flow-charting/mapping ideas. Love that I have the option to use paper or the board and that I can roll it from one office to another for brainstorming. It took me about 10-15 min to put together. I appreciate that the height is adjustable (I'm graze the 5-foot mark) and is pretty sturdy (I write hard). When one one of colleagues saw it, he got totally excited and wants one for everyone LOL.

It was easy to put together and I like how the height is adjustable. One downside is that it came bent. There is a bump across the bottom of the whiteboard that is quite visible. Otherwise, it’s a good product!

I'm a high school science teacher. When my students have questions at their tables (table = 4 students), I struggle to help the entire group because I typically need to write things down to help explain. In stead of everyone huddling over a paper or me trying to hold up a small whiteboard, I bought this board. I"m able to roll it up to them and give them an individualized instruction. I also use it to let the students know something as they walk in the room, such as "get your calculators!". I was initially surprised by the quality. Despite it being $150, I assumed it wouldn't be as nice as it is. It's fairly heavy and very sturdy. Putting it together was a breeze. It rolls well, and has "breaks" on the wheels. I love the option of having paper, or the white board to use. The markers that came with it are just okay, I prefer my own. The magnetic eraser and the cute bright magnets are great!My only complaint is that the board is on the pole crooked. I've tried moving it around, but it must be in the design. I'm sure mine is just a fluke though and others will be fine. It's not worth sending back since I do like it, but my need for neatness/perfection is driving me a bit nuts when I look at the board. I'll survive! I recommend this for any teacher!

I looked at the pictures of all the white boards out there on Amazon. I didn't feel comfortable with the stands bolted directly onto the back of the Whiteboard. I like this one cuz it has a soldered piece that is attached to a crossbeam that is attached to the board. This seemed to be the most sturdy design. I didn't like the one that had a knob in the back of the Whiteboard to adjust the tilt because I have had other types of stands that had knobs in the back to adjust and the knobs usually broke with time or the mechanism would falter. The only knob this one has is for the height. The knob doesn't really do anything but basically keeps the board in place after adjusting the height. The board is thick and solid. The only thin piece is the flip that holds the Eraser and markers. The piece does flip up and is magnetic so it sticks to the board when not in use. This is great to protect the part that holds the pens. I also like this one because it's height is adjustable. I can turn and spin the Whiteboard without moving the stand. I like the fact that the stand has wheels so I can move it from room to room. I did have an easel type whiteboard before but I was always having to drag it around. It died over time. I didn't like having to adjust it all the time. This one's much easier to adjust. So far it works great.

This is an awesome addition to my small classroom. I needed something to make my anchor charts on, but a lot of those teaching easels take up so much space. It was pretty easy to assemble, it maybe took 10-15 minutes and I did it with no help. The whiteboard part itself is actually pretty large so it will be easy for my 2nd graders to see. I love how it came with magnets, and eraser, and markers. It would be perfect if it could hold the chart paper on the back while I use the whiteboard side on the front….but that’s okay. This is a really good choice for the price point, especially if you need somewhere to make your anchor charts.
