The locking mechanism is very easy to use and the key stays in the lock until it is inserted on the pin. You, get two different size pins for the price of one.

Looks and fits nice in my 1 1/4 inch receiver. I bought this for the tow loop you see in the photos. I think receivers look better with something in them, besides the ball 24/7. I also know my car has 2 factory tow loops in front, yet none in back, so I bought a tow loop attachment, for both looks and in case my friends need another tow or I get stuck in a snow bank or something. Can’t hurt, for when I’m not pulling a trailer,The worry is theft. However unlikely it is someone will care to take this, given how u common 1 1/4 inch receivers are in comparison, you never know. So I bought this.Seems okay for quality, as you’d expect. I’d suggest a dry/lock lubricant every once in a while to prevent it from seizing, but we will see how it does throughout salty winter roads, and I’ll update. Seems fine for the price for now, and it fits both receiver types as it comes with both pin sizes.

Why I like this lock. It does not have the push button that failed on my last hitch lock. It seems so far to be good quality.

Had this mounted for a while. Takes a little getting used to as far as unlocking it, but it will secure the receiver to the hitch and it fits real well.
