Galvanized Steel Flexible Electrical Conduit
Maxxima’s galvanized steel flexible conduit is designed with durability in mind to provide mechanical strength and higher flexibility for all electricians. These helix wound flexible conduits feature corrosion resistance, durability and high functionality while also being fire retardant. Greenfield electrical are suitable for concealed or exposed installations for a variety of applications including power and lighting branch circuit conductors and cables for connecting receptacles, luminaries, equipment and more. This conduit roll is 25 feet long giving you plenty of length to work with. The flexible metal conduit allows for bends and twists without the use of extra hardware and allows for turns at corners without using elbow joints. This electrical conduit is UL Listed and backed by Maxxima for 1 year.

I bought this to use to armor my watering system. My main 1/2" lines are buried, but I still have blowouts and small (1/4") connectors and 1/2" root tubes to deliver the water. I'm in a dry climate and rabbits and leopard squirrels, etc chew into my lines trying to get water. I buried the armor about 4 inches deep and covered the exposed lines. If varmints chew through this, I will probably want to avoid them. :) So far so good.

I bought the 1 inch flexible metal conduit. 1 inch fittings would not work. Inner diameter measures 1 1/8. Which is not a standard size. I took it to Home Depot and compared to theirs. HD diameter was smaller and worked with 1†fittings. I already ran it through my house, so I will have to rig it to work.

A little lighter weight than what I’m used to but it’s ok.pulls apart easy if you’re rough with it though

I ran it so I'll have to cut it and wire it tight. Do not buy if you want 1".
