USING TIPS:
- Make sure the screws on the backing plate are fastened before use.
- If the machine do not be used for a period of time, remove the backing plate and give lubricating oil on the backing plate before the next use.

What a great item for the price. I have been looking at some sanders for a long time, but I could never justify the cost for my DIY small project stuff. Then I found this one, checked the reviews, looked for videos online (not many out there). I decided to take a leap of faith and give it a shot, and boy am I glad I did. This thing feels high end, works great (I am an amateur) and was a reasonable price point. Dust collection works well at keep particulates at a lower level, cord is more than long enough, and the switches/buttons feel well built. Overall I am thrilled to have found this brand and this sander, I am eager to try some other items in their tool system. I do have a review vid but I am not able to post it here (search for it), it keeps removing my review. Feel free to ask any questions. I love that it has both a 5 and 6 inch sanding head. Compared to Rigid sander this one replaced, it vibrates so much less than my old one which helps eliminate swirling. It's also much faster and had no issue bogging down even on broad end grain.The dust collection pretty good, it was very convenient that it came with it's own hose to hook up to the shop vac. I have noticed a bit of dust build-up around where the sanding head attached to the sander itself, but this might be because I only have it connected to a shop vac with a dust separator and not a higher end dust extractor or dust collector.I've had this sander for about a week, it's gotten a solid 10 hours of use on cherry, plastic and epoxy and I love it so far with no real complaints.The only thing I would consider even a slight complaint is the provided sand paper hardly lasted a few minutes before all of the grit rubbed off of it, but that's not even something worth considering overall.

Worked great for 30 minutes then the power abruptly dropped, severe vibration, and sounded like a blender with a handful of marbles in it. All the time was connected to a dust collection system providing cooling. NG.

I bought this sander after watching a ton of YouTube videos about it. I have an inflammatory disease that causes extreme pain in my hands, so I bought this to help. It really has very low vibration and helps to avoid "the tingles" felt after long sanding sessions. You really could operate it by holding a pencil eraser-side-down on it.That stated, my expectations may have been too high, because I was expecting it to work like magic after the videos I watched. It's not a bad sander; it just didn't cut through stock like I saw on some of the videos. It sands down at about the same rate as my regular, cheap orbital sander. I was also concerned about longevity, so I paid for the 4 year extended warranty plan.So all-in-all:Pros:- Very, very low vibration- Comfortable to use- No problems with swirl/squiggle marks on your work- Adjustable speed settings- The dust hose works surprisingly wellCons:- Pricey- The dust hose connector does not fit my small or large shop vacs or dust collectorAll in all I'm going to keep it. But I would not make a purchase this pricey without the extended warranty.

I like the low profile and low vibration compared to the Skil and Dewalt I have been using for years. Much more comfortable to use. The unit feels expensive with thick plastic and rubber overmold. I do however wish you could override the dead man switch. Also I am not sold on the mesh sandpaper, I bought a 5" pad so I can use all the sandpaper I have had stocked up.

Sander seems half as loud as my porter cable sander was, has excellent dust removal with the mesh pads, and leaves a fantastic finish very quickly. I like that it spins down quickly when you shut it off. The vibration fatigue on your hand is far less. This is a very nice copy of a much more expensive tool. Not sure I need the whole speed control electronic complication but it’s optional when using the tool. The paddle switch works quite nicely for my purposes.

I have been using this for several months now. It is very smooth, quiet and reliable with great dust collection. This has cut my sanding time down greatly.I have not experienced any issues with it at all. I am running it off of a separate 20AMP dedicated circuit and my shop vac off of another. I highly recommend this sander to anyone who wants to up their sanding game.

I'm posting this mainly to address some comments about the dust extraction parts. As you can see in the photos the hose connects to the sander outlet and the adapter connects to the hose at the other end which works with my CEN-TEC extraction fittings. The hose is a very tight fit, it looks to be the same diameter as the coupler and the sander outlet but this is just to give you a tight fit. It is possible that some purchasers didn't get the hose in the box which would certainly cause confusion!I've only used the sander briefly but it seems to be really good, certainly better than my older Orbitals and probably on a par with the much more expensive 3M unit it seems to copy.

I bought a first one and it still working after one year no problem very satisfy (a 6 inches) and I had a lot of 5inch disk for a Dewalt battery sander (i don't use it it's to heavy with the battery) look for a 5 inch replacement backing plate for the MAXXT sander ... found that this sander come with a 6 and a 5 inch disk, so ii decided to bought an other one
