I have an older (1830s) house and I wanted to add a little splash to the scene when someone drives up for the first time. This window has a classic style that is perfect for my situation. The box is thoughtfully designed, such that the planter is embedded in a large water reservoir, to save the hassle of watering frequently. The brackets are cleverly designed so the box snaps in place easily.It is lightweight so I could lift it into place from a step ladder.I haven't filled it yet, and I don't know about durability, but I am very happy with this purchase. So happy I just bought some more.

Love the durability of this planter, it’s had been up for almost a year and holding strong. The black has not faded. The only negative is the bottom isn’t completely flat, it bows down, which is odd but when it’s full you can’t notice. Deep reserve kept plants alive all summer. Easy to install. Would recommend to a friend!

My in-laws bought these a few years ago and they still look great. I installed them with ease. Obviously mounted these into the brick, which I used mortar anchors not included. There weren’t many houses in my neighborhood with boxes so we wanted to add something different. Now every one asks about them.

These were perfect for what I needed. Although they are to be used as a window box I have them on the ground against a wall. They are sturdy and the paneled look is special. I was happy to find that drainage is built in.

I used 2 of these as planters because they were the size I needed, not mounted for window boxes. Excellent quality and classy look. I have other Mayne products, so these were the obvious choice when I needed more. I can vouch that Mayne Canada Customer Service is top-notch, professional and prompt, the best service I have received from a company in decades!! Would give Mayne Products and Service 10 stars if I could!!!!
