I've been trying to find a Ring Light/Flash for shooting Macro Photos. I liked the look of the K & F Concept flash description. When I saw this I thought "This is the same flash" plus this one has more adapter rings. Well, I was right, it even comes with the zippered bag. As soon as I saw that I knew they were the same. So I start fooling around with it and it is simply Awesome! You can use the Light and Flash together either as Autofocus Assist or full on, although that tends to give you overexposure, which you can correct for with the EV adjustment. The video light isn't terribly strong, so it would really be good alone at close up distances. You can use the Flash as either one side or the other or both. Plus you can set the ratio of each to give you a more 3 dimensional look. You can also set up multiple flashes and even set the ratio of the flashes in this mode. All of these controls are available in iTTL, TTL and Manual modes. The iTTL works perfectly and when I looked at the display on the Flash I could see that it was reporting the Camera's settings perfectly. I LOVE THIS FLASH! There are so many ways you can play around with the lighting and you can correct the exposure if what you're trying to do doesn't come out just right. So it gives you a way to correct YOUR Mistakes. LET It do it's thing and There are NO Mistakes to correct. Not Only do I Highly Recommend this Flash, I'm going to take a serious look at McoPlus products in general when I'm looking for a new piece of equipment.

I've tried various macro flashes--Neewer and others. This is the best. First the adaptor rings are metal and not plastic. This means that there is less chance for cross-threading and getting an adaptor stuck on your lens. Second, even though the manual is hard to understand set-up and use are easy. I would have given five stars were it not for the manual. Don't hesitate. This ring light is worth purchasing.

This is my second time purchasing this flash. I liked the first unit so much that I bought it again after I damaged it accidentally by leaving it it my trunk and forgetting it was there and shoving some heavy gear in on top of it. I enjoyed this flash in concert with my 100mm macro lens. It works in TTL mode but I prefer to use a light meter in manual mode (see attached photos). I recommend this flash it is an outstanding performer.

Do not skimp on optics but with lighting in the digital world and especially in closeup photography, this is the ticket. You can experiment with exposures and home in on the perfect solution with this ring flash and put your money to use where it counts....optics. This worked for me.
