My kids do love these as slap bracelets but we use them primarily to keep our gift wrap rolls from unraveling. They’re ideal for that purpose as the material isn’t so slippery that they just slide off. They’re okay on thicker rolls but they work best on your average roll of gift wrap. I bought these because the ones advertised specifically for wrapping paper are overpriced.

Using these, as a tip from a friend, to keep my crafting vinyl rolls neat. They are on the wall on ribbon racks and I didn't want them all hanging out and looking messy. Perfect to keep everything tidy.

I bought these for holding wrapping paper rolls rolled. They work great for the purpose, and are about the right size for an ordinary size roll. They would not be big enough for wallpaper or paper towel rolls, but they are perfect for most wrapping paper.I probably would not buy these to use as bracelets. They come apart too easily, and are a bit sharp inside, like a tape measure. In fact, I think that is what's inside. Also, they would be too small for most kids over 8 or 9, I think. For holding rolls, I would buy again -- except that the package contains so many that they should last quite a while.

They're great for holding vinyl rolls you can label them they're durable and if you have kids you can give the kids a few to decorate I would definitely buy these again
