I purchased this item for my second grade classroom and I am very happy with the Plastic Tubular Spring Scale. The numbers are nice and dark - easy to read. This item did not look or feel "cheap" to me. Good quality for the price.

Small set screw on top allows you to adjust the accuracy. Took a 1lb can of beans and weighed it then adjusted it until it was perfect. I use it to weigh fish, very nice

We received a Spring Scale that would not set to zero (the spring was stretched?) and Amazon replaced it with the same item. When the new item came, it was clearly of a different quality, arrived in different unit packaging and has been great. Only giving 3 stars because of the inconsistency in quality for the same product listing. The second one has been great, but that first one is garbage!

I know it was inexpensive but it really doesn't work. I believe the spring it too tight. When I hang an item from it to weigh it doesn't move accurately. I have a flat scale that says something weighs, 6-10 grams and this scale will barely move.

I used this scale for setting preload on auto wheel bearings. I compared this with an laboratory instrument. It was very accurate. Can't go wrong for the money
