This works great for my 3d printer. I needed more power than the stock and this has it.

As a 3D printing enthusiast the first thing I replace on 3d printer is the power supply! The MEAN WELL LRS-350-24 power supply is one of the best, most reliable ones there is! The LRS-350-24 delivers a rock-solid 24V 14.6A output, which is perfect for powering my 3D printer. What really sets this power supply apart, however, is its exceptional reliability and build quality. MEAN WELL is a well-respected brand in the power supply industry, and it's clear why. This unit is built like a tank, with high-quality components and a rugged design that can withstand the rigors of heavy use.

Meanwell PSUs (at least genuine ones) have always been reliable, and this is no exception.I have several of these in-use for various projects, from 3D Printer and CNC machine to some projects still in development. I also have various other meanwell PSUs in use for lower power applications like LED lighting and such. The only downside for this particular PSU is that it's actively cooled with a small fan, and that fan is a little whiney. I know a few folks have researched into alternative quieter fans (many of which don't actually push enough air, and don't meet their listed specs), but to be honest it's not noisy enough to really be an issue for me, so I haven't bothered replacing the fan.The fan isn't on all the time (e.g.: not when 3D Printer or CNC are idle, and not driving motors/heaters etc), and when it is on the noise is drowned out by the noise of the rest of the equipment (stepper motors, CNC spindle, extruder hot-end blower fan etc)

Used to upgrade the 12V CR10s power supply to a 24V system. Well made power supply, quiet fan, no issues so far.

Meanwhile, is a good trusted name and you’re not going to have any issues or trouble with these power supplies. I’ve had issue with other cheap power supplies that we’re not stable or produce magic smoke pay a couple extra dollars and get them mean well you won’t go wrong and it’ll last for a long time.

A quality power source is always bonus, in my OCD and constant curiosity I did test before and after completing the installation. It tested perfectly with constant even under load.

I had purchased some lower-cost generic Chinese power supplies. THey worked OK, until they didn't. They failed because the NTC thermistor had a lower current rating than the fuse, so the NTC thermistor failed. Not exactly great design. Furthermore, the lower-cost supply left out the overcurrent protection circuitry, so the power supply would happily run along exceeding its rating, until it failed.I bought the Mean Well supply for a price premium. And it was definitely worth it. Properly-sized NTC. And active overcurrent protection. When I put the power supply in my circuit, it shut down because I was asking for more than the rated current. This allowed me to troubleshoot my system and find out where things had failed. Much better than the cheaper power supply. The workmanship on this supply is head and shoulders above the workmanship on the generic supply, as well. And to top it off, this supply is smaller. When I needed a new 12V 350W power supply, I didn't even waste my time looking at any of the cheap ones. I just went right for the Mean Well, and I'm glad I did.For me, the extra money is well spent. I strongly recommend the Mean Well over the generic power supplies.

First and foremost, you always need to ensure you buy quality PSUs. These are high voltage devices pulling high amperage and are connected directly to your mains. Poor quality PSUs WILL cause a house fire. Mean Well is a well-respected brand which is known to be both reliable and safely manufactured. One way to check if your Mean We'll PSU is genuine is to look for the MW logo on the PCB. If you purchased this supply, you can find the logo right behind the fan. You may need to use a small piece of plastic to move the blades while using your flash to locate it. I've attached a picture which shows about where that is.This itself isn't enough to guarantee the safety of the device, though. Often you'll find third parties selling "refurbished" supplies they pulled out from failed devices. For this matter, the best reassurance is to check the QC Report. If you search for "Mean Well Quality Control Inspection Report", you'll find the official tool for Mean Well. Type in your serial number (found on the small barcode on the side of the device) and download the PDF report. If you bought the device new, the report should have been published no longer than a handful of months prior. Now if you want more reassurance, Mean Well states that they stamp the serial number on the PCB itself also. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner, but you can open the device up, locate the serial number, and validate that it is the same as the number on the case.

Muy fácil de cambiarlo por el original se ve la calidad de la marca y hasta ahorita no he tenido ningún problema para poder utilizarlo con impresora durante varias horas.

Good power supply, pretty slim. I tested it without issue. I like that the fan doesn't come on unless it's needed. It's neither refurbished nor bootleg since the inside has no dust and the major components are Mean Well branded.
