I needed a new pressure gauge for my pool filter. The ones sold by pool manufacturers are cheap and hard to read..After looking around a bit, this seemed like almost exactly what I needed. I say 'almost' because I am using this on a pool-- the pressures range from around 10 psi to about 30 psi. Rarely more. Unfortunately the scale on this item is 0 to 100--which means that the useful part of the scale for my application is tiny.I wish this company made the same exact item with a pool friendly scale on it--say 0 to 40psi. I would then rate this as an excellent purchase.Installation was a snap-- a bit of teflon tape and a few twists. The stainless steel case is enormous and the dial can be read across a room. For the price, this seems very well made and durable. the fact that it is lead-free (meant to be used with drinking water) gives me confidence that it isn't adding any strange metals to my pool.If I learn anything else about the durability of this item as I use it, I will come back and share.

I didn't think it would be big enough but it surprisingly is. It's easy to read from 15 ft away. The needle isn't the smoothest but it's not oil filled and mounted on top of a air compressor so do expect it to be, it's just very large so the normal movement is exaggerated. I honestly wish Ibdid this upgrade sooner it's great being able to see where your Air sits at.

This gauge performs well, but is not as easy to read as I had hoped. It's in a shadow most of the time and is hard to read as a result. It is a cheap-feeling gauge with the plastic face. I'm hoping it will hold-up in my home-use environment.

Large size makes it very easy to read. Exactly what I wanted.

Terrific technical support from MEASUREMAN.While it might take a special tool to remove the press fit dial pointer, it's not terribly hard to change the dial face. The tricky part is recalibrating when you reinstall the dial pointer. In my case I first used a pressure regulator to apply half scale pressure to two gauges at the same time. Later I repeated this same exercise to position the dial pointer when reinstalling it to point to half scale pressure. As a side benefit it was clear that two MEASUREMAN gauges will give corresponding readings. The tricky parts to making a custom dial face are drawing the different diameter rings of tics and cutting a clean circle from the photo paper.I printed the replacement scale on photo paper using Adobe Illustrator. In retrospect it would have been easier to make the markings using a CAD program like AutoCAD.A cast aluminum circle cutter makes cutting the circle predictable and easy once you get the right diameter. Tried a less expensive plastic cutter but it gave a wobbly cut no matter how gently it was used on the heavy glossy photo paper.Recommend this MEASUREMAN gauge for accuracy, being customizable, technical support, and for its fair price!

These gauges seemed like they are too good to be true … and they kinda are !!I’m sure I got some return gauges. They are scratched up like they were out in a shop somewhere. Never installed .. but still. The lenses are scratched up as well .. can’t really take a good picture of it but other than those defects .. they look pretty good and I’m going to test them for accuracy next.We wanted to use these for a display of a prototype project we have for our customers, but these are not really pretty enough for that.Give them some love and see if they can work for us. Tried polishing the lenses and they are not gettin better .. Ohhh wellThe construction of these gauges are sturdy and they have a nice stainless case.I guess for this price point it’s probably comparable to others. Looks like I’ll be headed to Winters Gauge for some replacements. I’m sure these will be nice for a normal application.

I rebuilt/redid my old 60gal 2hp motor & pump, from the 90's, to a pressure tested to 250 p.s.i. with water. No leaks or loss of pressure. And redid and aftercooler/radiator w/ electric fan. W/3/4" & 1/2" copper type M and a little 3/4" & 1/2" PEX w/S.S. Crimps. Theses are before the pressure regulator than another pressure gauge to 50' retractable Hose with a S.S. Industrial 3/8" Air Flow, thru all fittings, couplings.

Large face makes the gauge very easily readable, which helps for setting reliably/repeatedly the lower pressures I use for powder coating. Don’t know how precisely accurate it is, but readings appear to agree with other gauges in the system.

It's replacing the 3" back mount gauge that came with a used tank as the old one measures in MPa and was smashed up. I can read this from the opposite end of the garage! It seems quite accurate as I put a few gauges I had in a box on a manifold with it and they all read the same and I don't need pinpoint accuracy.

I bought 4 and they each show 4 different pressures on the same thing. Differences of 5psi, I might as well just guess the pressure and save my money.
