Very forgiving when mounting. Because it's so darn curly, I used the "tape it all down first" method, then applied CA in between the tape, removed the tape, and more CA accordingly. I used 3 strips - one binding, and two layers of perfling. It worked like a charm. I did the CA+sanding trick (Robbie O'Brien) to coverup the seams - they are not even visible. So overall, I'm very happy with this product!

Wasn't a big choice on dimensions available, but the price for this 0.060 binding was really nice. I do recommend a heat gun or maybe very hot water to straighten the coiled plastic before working it further or gluing it. StewMac sells it straight with more choices, if it means that much to you.

Purchased these for a recent guitar build as the one I purchased before was out of stock. Was not sure of the quality of these as I got 2 sets for the price I paid last time for one. I ordered the Abalone colored ones and found these to be of very good quality with consistent thickness and width dimensions. Color was good but not as bright as my previous purchased version but definitely acceptable if you did not have the other one to do a direct comparison. Installation and functionality very good. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.
