Every gauge like this I've had has been reliable. This one worked great, was an easy install, and looks good. It comes in a small box and the " bourbon" tube is contained/supporter by a coil of wire. It is a delicate instrument so try to not kink it and unroll it easily. It is plenty long enough so to reach from my dash to the front of a small block chevy eng. A brand new electric sending unit, new wire, and original gauge, regardless of 6v or 12v just wasn't cooperating so this manual worked right off. I like it. I have installed it into a 1957 Willys v8 and 400 turbo. One photo shows the tubing connection at the front eng above the water pump. The gauge came with mounting hardware for a already installed hole I think 2" but not for under dash mount. I didn't need the under dash mount.

Installed on a IH 407 engine. Responds great. Has great clarity.

More plastic than I expected but for the price is works very well, just be careful when installing it.

The gauge works, but it slow to respond to temperature in my opinion

I tried changing the bulb to a larger LED white and it didn't make any difference at all. You cannot see this gauge at night. Very disappointed.

Pretty easy to install just a bit of tedious wire running through the dash and under the hood. Makes my vehicle look like a hot rod

Temp gauge reads 20 degrees hotter than what actual temp really is. I would have returned it but once installed it not worth the effort to take it back out threw the fire wall.
