Tips for using this SOUS VIDE cooker
- When it is beeping and shows LO, it is a reminder of insufficient water, fill water over MIN line.
- When cooking food in open container, the set temp could not be reached, put a lid on the container.
- Always put the food in sealed bags in cooking, to avoid damage and difficulty in cleaning.
How to calibrate temperature
- Press Temp Setting button for 5 seconds until 0.0° shows on the screen.
- Press + or - to set the calibrated temp difference value.
- Press Temp Setting button again to save the change.

I purchased this sous vide because of the price. I wasn't sure if I would like using a sous vide so I didn't want to spend to much money on one till I was sure I liked using one. With that being said this is a basic model but it works like a charm. It's not wifi which I don't need one with that feature anyway. I've used it for steaks, a tri-tip and pork tenderloins. I absolutely love the simplicity of using it. Set the time and temperature and when it's finished sear the meat and eat, what else could you ask for.

So easy to cook with these. Perfect temp. Cooked lamb chops at 130 degrees for 2 hours then seared them; perfection. Preseason before putting the food in the water bath.

This Sous vide works very well. I have had good results. The only issues I have are when programming it, I seem not to be able to work it properly and have to try to set it up several times. I've now had this and used it a couple of times for tenderizing and cheaper cut of roast. I'm not sure it's maintaining temperature throughout the long sous vide process. My roast should have been rare but it came out medium rare (more or less). I'm not sure at this point if I"ll keep it, it worked great for my turkey wings.

Only problem is the clamping attachment. It's not very sturdy and if it breaks...you're out of luck. Clamp is not available to buy separately according to Mecity parent company. For this reason I will reluctantly be returning to Amazon with a 'DO NOT BUY' Review.

I have been using the product for several months already and so far. I would recommend this product if you are starting to use a sous vide.

Sous Vide is easy and the results fantastic. This device is of excellent performance and quality seem excellent as well. I don't need another phone app and ordered this because it did not have an app. Such simple operation is refreshing. Buy it. Get a couple steaks or chicken breasts and you will be hooked! So easy. So good.
