I somehow missed that it was a PVC patch with hook and loop backing rather than a typical embroidered patch. It will still work, though, for what I picked it up for. I will just have to skip some already-made holes while stitching to my vest.

Looks really good on a uniform shirt. I wear mine on Fridays underneath the American flag in a police uniform. Very sharp, but not obnoxious. Just enough to remind people that thousands of citizens serve every day to protect their freedoms. Their sacrifices are easy to overlook, given all the comfort of home that we take for granted. When we forget those sacrifices is when we take our own freedom for granted.
