I think what I like the most about these particular grippy dog socks is the elastic fasteners. They allow you to get the "ankle" tight so it doesn't fall off when the dog runs around, but also doesn't cut off your dog's circulation because it flexes. The design is kind of funny and if your dog is recovering from a medical issue, they definitely make even the biggest of pups look a little bit pathetic.

When the socks first came in, I thought I ordered too small. But the socks are true to size if you follow the directions for ordering the correct size. My dog hurt her paw, so the 4 pack is perfect to switch out and keep her paw clean. The Velcro option snaps on and off. She has kept it on without the Velcro though, but nice option to have if needed. It has the grippy texture on both sides, so if it turns no big deal. I’ll definitely order again. But I hope I don’t have too.

I have a boxer who has hip dispose and ordered these to help protect his feet. he is a good size dog around 87 pounds i ordered the med/lrg. the material is nice but it isn't "huggie"enough even with the added adhesive cloth on the inside and I continually had to pull blossoms up every five minutes. the socks would twist so the truly studentship and bottom would end up on the sides and the material with out grip would end up on the bottom and he would slide on the surfaces that weren't carpet. they are nice enough but didn't work for my pups needs

My dog has developed an autoimmune disorder and she can’t feel from the waist down. When she tries to walk her rear legs slide all over the place and her front legs flail. Often she falls down. I carry her most places but sometimes she really wants to walk. Not far. Maybe like 10’. And she doesn’t want to be held when she potties. These socks are an answered prayer. They are the only sock small enough to fit her and with the Velcro straps they actually stay on. I love that the Velcro straps snap on so I can take them off when I want to wash them. In case you are wondering, I wash them in a lingerie bag so I don’t loose any. My dog is 4lbs. Her leg is smaller around than my pointer finger and her toe beans are about 3/4 of an inch across. The socks are a little baggie around the toes but they are the best fitting socks I have tried. The grippers help her keep her feet under her so she can walk, without them walking is almost impossible. I ordered 3 more sets. Picture is her just after I put them on the back legs. Super cutie!

I purchased a large set of medical therapeutic dog socks for my boy to help him from sliding. He didn't like but realized he didn't slide with them on. My boy is big - 96 pounds- and the large were big on him. They gripped well and were easy to put on. Seemed durable but not practical as they kept falling off despite a velcro strap to keep them on.

These were working well for a while. I was doing well at checking to make sure they weren’t on too tight. I however messed up one day and made it too tight. When I came home from work my cats paw was blown up and oozing, I had to cut the sock off. I cut her circulation off. All is well now the vet gave my kitty a shot to bring the swelling and infection down. The socks sometimes come off if not tightened just right. Tighten too much and it can be bad.

These are comfy socks for your dog. The fabric is breathable and they have non slip treads. However, you need to use a provided Velcro strap to keep them on. The strap is separate and attached with a snap closure. But, the hardware is plastic and my dog quickly figured out how to chew the hardware area to release the snap, which not only caused the sock to fall off but also ruined the snap hardware. Unfortunate because otherwise there are great.

Very good product. The size was perfect for my dog and the best addition was the strap to make sure they don’t early come off was a great design addition.
