This box either cannot handle cold weather or it is cheaply made. I put it outside to house my Christmas light extension cords. One of the latch locks broke on the very first use. Unfortunately, I tossed the box after opening... my mistake, so I cannot return it. I would NOT buy this again, nor do I recommend it

First and foremost this is a perfect size. I have purchased many of these outdoor waterproof boxes over the years as my light display has grown and most of them are not nearly as big as I needed. This box is very decently sized with plenty of room for those bulky plugs that comes with lights these days. There are also 4 clamps instead of the usual two giving you a much more secure closure. Plenty of openings to route your cables and they are truly watertight with rubber grommets.

I have two other boxes like this, but there is one difference with this box. It's got 4 clamps instead of the typical 2, which makes it much better when it comes to making sure you have a nice, tight seal. It comes with extra grommets and does a great job keeping the water out!
