11 x 17 is a difficult size to find in ready made frames. At $10 this is an extremely economical way to frame 11 x 17 posters. The frame itself is plastic but it is fairly rigid. The "glass" is also plastic but most people won't be able to tell. There's nothing on the packaging that tells you this -- but be certain to rip the protective film off of the "glass." Otherwise, you will have a hazy mat look to your poster. You have to carefully dig your fingernail into the edges on both sides and once you get a little bit lose, the film will pull right off.

I got this to frame a poster-sized print of a painting I bought a long time ago. The pros: I love the hinges on the back, which don't bend and tuck and inevitably break. It looks pretty nice. The cons: it's cheaply made with materials that bend very easily. There is no glass, just a plastic front that had some scuffs/damage upon arrival. Consider the level of quality you want before buying. This suits my needs well enough but it won't for everyone.

This frame was just what I was looking for, I couldn't find that specific size at any of my local shops but Amazon sure had it. It fits the art item that I wanted to mount exactly as needed. It has about 6-8 clips at the back to secure the artwork inside and when closed up it feels quite sturdy and secure in hand. The only slight con is that the protective "glass" at the front is actually made from plastic, which is ok, except it has this slightly smoky hue or overlay to it, which dulls the color of the artwork just a bit. But after a while, you get used to it and the art shines again. Overall it's a good purchase for the cost!

These are great quality poster frames but both black frames arrived broken. I returned that set and was shipped the replacement frames, only for both of those frames to arrive broken. I was able to use black Gorilla Tape to secure the broken frames so I could use it rather than returning and reordering and receiving more broken frames. This is an item that is best purchased locally so it hopefully won't be broken through shipping.

I was a bit skeptic at first, as the price seems high for a photo frame. It arrived and indeed it is beautiful, particularly when I put in the picture. The “glass†is Plexiglas and is unbreakable. Just I would be careful when I wipe the frame so I won’t scratch it. I really like the outcome.

Not worth the price. Material is cheap and there's a huge scratch on the frame that is quite obvious. Not recommended
