I used them for Thanksgiving and they were just beautiful. I will now use the other 2 for my Christmas party. I am putting greens and cranberries in the vase with the floating candles on top.

These were not solid black. They were white dipped in black wax, so when they burned they became a gray inside. 1st picture is the bottom and 3rd picture shows how looked after floating in the water and burned.But, we did have a hard time finding this size floating candles in black. There isn't a lot to choose from.

The candles are pretty but I burned them twice for a couple of hours. I started to light them tonight and saw that they looked like donuts where the whole center had burned up! I expected them to last much longer.
