The Brief Introduction of Calligraphy Xuan Paper
The chinese calligraphy paper was produced in Jing County, Anhui Province. During the Tang Dynasty, Jing County was under the official administration of Xuanzhou Prefecture. Jing paper had to be transported to Xuanzhou before it was distributed elsewhere. So the paper was named xuan paper.

nice roll of Xuan Pape with reasonable price, we enjoy it to do Chinese Calligraphy, drawing... as many people facing same small issues with Xuan papers, finding the front part of the paper, so, may be, if company can marking the front part of Xuan paper with a thin color line that mighthelps, but again, this are a wonderful roll of Xuan paper.

I do not use this paper for its intended use. When used in paper mâché it gives a nice finish. Although it is a bit difficult to use the end product is worth it. I have used it for over a year and developed techniques that work well.

This paper is very delicate, and doesn't hold up well for Geli printing or any other process that puts too much stress on the paper. I think it would be great for folks that don't need to work this paper too much, but for my purposes it didn't work well. I won't purchase again.

I needed an absorbent paper with a true white color. This has a nice finish and was quite sturdy. Worked well for me.

This paper is much thinner than the first two rolls I bought in early 2022. When I bought this paper in early 2022. This is the best Xuan paper I could buy on Amazon. I bought a few more rolls last August, November, and a few days ago. It's so sad to find the paper got much thinner. I gave overall two stars because I am so disappointed with the current quality.

El papel crudo es extremadamente ligero, el rollo de 100 metros no pesa nada, muy suave, tanto que se deshace al manipularlo. No lo usé porque me equivoqué al cómprarlo, me llegó el crudo y yo ocupó el maduro que es más duro y espero sea más resistente.
