After buying a 1999 38 foot motor home with serious oxidation on it, bought this massive container to start trying to buff it out. I first used this on a power polisher with a lamb's wool pad. It worked okay, but splattered everywhere and my upper body strength failed to support the prolonged use of the heavy polisher. I'm no spring chicken anymore, so it turned out looking okay near the ground, but when I had to be up on the ladder...it was spotty at best. Figured it was the best I could do, since it was so old.But....Just recently I had an epiphany and it's worked sooooo much better. I'll share my hint with you: I applied the stuff to a blue no-scratch Scotchbrite pad, and using elbow grease, polished it again by hand. Game-changer! It looks so much shinier and no swirl marks. It probably is going to take the same amount of time doing the whole coach again this way, but it's turning out so much better. I can work around the protrusions, awning supports, stripes, and molding with ease using the small pad. I found the pad needs changing out periodically since it loads up and wears down. Cheaper than wool pads, more accurate polishing, way less mess. After using this deoxidizer, I followed up with a cleaner-wax, then marine grade wax. 3-step process, but goes fast.My arms and shoulders are getting a workout, but much easier than dealing with a heavy electric polisher, cord, possible burn-thru, wool pads getting destroyed on sharp outcroppings, and funky positions to try to keep the polisher loaded up, running, and under control. Also, absolutely must wear rubber gloves using this stuff.

It goes on with very evenly and not at all hard to remove the residue. Excellent product.

I am a first-time RV owner, having purchased a used 19-ft. travel trailer. I decided to protect my new investment buy purchasing a good wax to not only bring back the shine to our new camper, but to help protect it throughout the camping season. After reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to give this stuff a try.First let me say, that I was a little misled by the name of this product..."One-Step Cleaner Wax". What I pictured in my head was a product that you added to a bucket of water, and you could literally wash your RV with it, and it would leave a nice, protective, shiny coat behind. Perhaps I should have researched it a little more, but this is definitely NOT a one-step, wash n' wax product. The directions on the bottle make it perfectly clear that you must first wash your RV as your normally would, ensuring it is clean and dry, THEN apply this product, allow it to dry to a haze, then buff it off. That's THREE steps, as far as I'm concerned.Let me say you definitely want to use this product on a cool day, with your RV in the shade. It makes it so much easier to buff off the haze. It does bring back the color and shine to your RV nicely. It also does a nice job of removing those black streaks from under windows, hatch doors, etc. that soap and water fail to remove. The product has a nice scent (although I do not recommend inhaling it!), and a little goes a long way. I will definitely purchase this again. Just be aware, I think the name "One Step Cleaner Wax" is a little misleading, especially for new, first-time RV owners.

I have a problem with the front of my travel trailer. In the Desert Southwest the sun is brutal on fiberglass surfaces. I decided to give this product a try. I used a handheld Wen polisher to apply the product, let it get thoroughly dry, and easily wipe it off with a soft terry cloth towel. It works beautifully and was easy to apply and buff out.

This is all I use on my 32' whaler. Keeps the hull looking great. I use a mechanical buffer with a sponge pad and the results are really good. Buff off with a microfiber rag.

Just polished off a 32oz bottle on my 40' fifth wheel (pun intended). I was very impressed by the ability to remove oxidation and it makes for a nice shine. I applied by hand but removed by both buffer wheel and by hand. Once dry, it removed easily. In regards to scratches, it may deal with very light scratches but I did not see much improvement over some slight scratches that I had.I applied it in direct sunlight just to see how it worked and it still came off easily. I used this on both the metal and fiberglass portions of my rig and it did great. It was not smooth metal so it took a bit more elbow grease to remove it. It has since rained and it does a great job repelling water, keeping my rig looking sharp. I can't comment on longevity but if it's like any other Mequiar product, I expect it to do well. I use nothing but Mequiar's and this product did not let me down. Again, the removal of oxidation and other surface grime was fantastic with this cleaner/wax!! Extremely impressed and I recommend this to all of my RV friends.
