First... I purchased two (2) of the MEIKEE 7W LED Landscape Lights Pathway Lights 12V/24V Spotlights (Warm White 8 Pack - 64000022-WW). These kits do NOT include wire, connectors or transformer (as described at the top of the product page). I knew this before I purchased, but wanted to make sure anyone purchasing this is aware that they will need to purchase those items separately.Second... I read a lot of the negative reviews and wanted to clarify a few things: as described (and I mentioned above), this does not include wire, connectors or transformer. It is a 45 degree beam light as described (not 90 degree as some complained about). The power wire is 1M long (3.3 feet), which is very helpful when trying to keep connections to a minimum and/or keep your main power feed buried and away from view. All lights (16 of them) were brand new, in excellent condition and all worked out of the box.Third... the product is very misleading as to voltage and electric type... and I wanted to clarify for the technical folks reading this. The product description states 12V - 24V supported (but doesn't declare AC or DC - FYI: most landscape lighting transformers are 12V AC). See the attached pictures... the box shows "12V - 24V DC or 12V - 18V AC"... but the tiny manual states "12V - 24V AC / DC"... and last, the light has a sticker that states "12V - 24V DC" (no mention of AC). Knowing how AC and DC works... and my transformer is within the voltage range (12V AC)... I figured I would test one on it, and it worked perfectly fine. I ended up using a Malibu 200W transformer for the 16 lights (@7W each, is 112 watts, leaving me way below the 75% max load for extended life of the transformer, which is 150 watts).Next up... Quality. I have read the negative reviews commenting about poor quality of the fixture bracket (where the spike is attached). Yes, this is not the strongest bracket in the world... but unless you are forcing the light into the ground or putting side pressure on the light, it will never bend. It is sturdy, above the amount of mechanical support needed for a light of this size (but it would be good if the manufacturer added gusset indents, like the sides have, into the lower corners of the bracket - this would eliminate most all of the side to side bending). Out of the 16 lights I assembled, only one bracket had a slight bend in it (see attached picture), which I was able to square up with the squeeze from a pair of pliers. The spikes are very light cast aluminum and should be installed into loosened soil (as the instruction manual states). I do not expect these to break if installed properly and no crazy forces are applied against them... install them properly (and with common sense) and they'll work perfectly fine and should last without any issue.Last... I read some negative reviews about lights being used, broken, rusted, etc. These are other sellers trying to lower the ranking of this product. I do not work for this company, nor a competitor... nor do I even do work in the industry and / or with companies based in China. I am a local home owner in New Jersey who just didn't want to pay over $30 a light at the Big Box stores. I bought these at $53.99 (8 pack), which worked out the $6.75 a light. Go to your local Big Box and see what they are selling them for. I looked at the fancy ones there (which are closer to $50 a light) and the casing and quality of the light enclosure was the same (those expensive lights do have nicer spikes and brackets). One major difference is that many of the Big Box brands allows for is replacement the bulb... but at what cost? I will be buying an extra set of 8 of these and will keep them as spares... the 6.75 a fixture (with the LED bulb) will be less expensive then replacing just the bulb on those units. Also... be sure to see what type of bulb they have in the Big Box units... many of the units that allow you replace the bulb are still using Halogen bulbs (especially the less expensive $15 - $20 lights)... these draw a lot more wattage, which will tax your transformer over time. Plus... as everything switches over to LED, it will becoming harder to find these bulbs in the future.Assembly Tips: See attached pictures. In the kit there is the light, a spike, a wall mounting screw kit (with 3 screws and wall anchors), a bell housing for wall mounting, an Allen wrench and a small screw kit for the wall mount or spike installation to the light fixture / bracket. I am only doing spike mounts, so my pictures reflect that assembly process. I was able to assemble 4 lights in under 8 minutes (unpacking, unbagging, uncoiling the wire and putting it all together)... so about 2 minutes a light. Once all opened up and ready to go, take the Allen-head screw and place one of the small spring washers on it, followed by the flat washer. Put this screw / washer assembly through the bottom hole of the bracket and hold it in place with one hand. Using your other hand... thread the spike to the screw, being careful to not cross-thread the screw into the spike. Once the screw gets hard to hold, place the included wrench in the screw and continue to tread the spike onto the screw and finally finish up and tighten the spike to the bracket by holding the spike and turning the screw with the wrench. I personally cranked down on these and had no issues with stripping or the spike breaking... but use common sense when doing this. Once the spike was attached, I carefully took the wire leads and connected them to an unplugged transformer, plugged it in and tested each light. All 16 lights I received worked and presented the same amount of brightness (at least to my eyes - no special testing tools used for that, I am not that crazy).I will be installing these lights tomorrow and will post an update with pictures of the installation, wiring connectors used, how I ran my wires, made my terminations and how it looks at night. I will be using 2 main feeds, 6 lights on one feed and 9 lights on the other. All feeds will be on 12 Gauge wire and the 9 light feed will extend about 100 feet away from the transformer, so I will be able to show any loss in brightness due to load on the feed and distance from the transformer (if any - I don't expect any with 12 Gauge wire and such low wattage on the feed).I hope this review helps. Cheers!

I purchased these as replacements for my existing 12v 50w landscape spots, which became non-functional after about 5 years. The location is beachfront in Hawaii, with high exposure to wind and salt. I have tried numerous alternatives, but in every case corrosion of the lamp housing, rusting of the hardware, or corrosion of the lamp and/or socket has led to failure. The criteria are straightforward: 1) all parts must be corrosion resistant .... either die-cast aluminum or stainless steel 2) 100% weather-tight housing 3) easily mounted on 1/2" vertical PVC conduit extending ~ 18" above ground level. 4) compatible with existing 12V AC transformer 5) reasonably pricedThe MEIKEE lamps seemed to meet all of these criteria. Upon delivery, I checked for corrosion resistance with a magnet .... and found that every part was completely non-magnetic .... with the exception of two small lock washers used for mounting of the lamps (which are really not necessary anyway). I might mention, that it is highly unusual for any light fixture to have all parts corrosion resistant. Installation was simple and quick. An added positive is that the lamp cord is about 3' long. My landscaping required 7 lights, so a pack of 8 was perfect. After installation, one lamp was about half as bright as the others, so I replaced it with the supposed spare. I emailed MEIKEE to inform them about the one defective lamp, and they immediately shipped a replacement (in fact they sent a 2-pack). Wonderful customer service!! The 7W bulbs are brighter than the old 50W incandescent system, the overall system looks great.Bottom line: Quality seems great, performance better than expected, real easy to install as retrofit, wonderful customer service. Highly recommend!

Good quality lights with grear brightness so if you are focusing on plants or tree it looks really nice at night. I installed them around Nov 2024 and so far no issues. Also one more improvements is hot it makes contact with your wire. I would definitely recommend it!

Work great and look good. Good price. Not worth paying a few thousand dollars on higher end so these are great for what they do… light up parts of my landscape!

I’ve had these landscape lights for a number of years now, and they have proven to be reliable, bright, well built, and resistant to all types of weather, including snow, frigid temperatures, sun, and rain. I would highly recommend this brand compared to many of the other name brand Landscape lighting sets usually found in big box retail stores. Highly recommend!

Work great. Was my first time doing low voltage landscape lighting. Wasn’t sure what wattage to go with. Bought some 1W, some 3W, some 5W. and these 7W lights. These 7W were nice and bright, but not too bright. These provide a stong bright light that spreads nicely when distances from object you’re illuminating. Build quality is good. Left them outside all winter. Worked fine in the spring. Survived -30C to -40C temps. They did develop droplets inside and/kind of fogged up a bit, but this did not impact performance.

Lights are nice and bright, but not any brighter than the ones they're replacing (Moonrays).Installation was pretty easy. Only once did the spike miss the wire and it was easily remedied by ensuring the wire was centred and not twisted in the nut. I have some concern about the waterproofness of the connection to the lamp but nothing some electrical tape won't remedy. In terms of value for money, if they outlast the Moonrays they're replacing they've more than earned the 4* I gave them. That won't be hard as the more expensive Moonrays only lasted a year.

These lights have been great for adding ambient lighting to my yard for visual appeal & better vision when letting the dogs out at night. They are a very fair price and the install is actually pretty easy once you understand the instructions! Only issue so far is that one of the lights seems to have some fog/ be damp under the lens so I will have to monitor that.. hoping it does not prevent the light from working

I bought 2 packs of these lights noticed they contain the humidity inside even though they say they’re weatherproof waterproof I’ve had them for less than six months and two of the lights out of 16 are burnt already. The light is very bright and very nice aside from the lightbulbs, burning and returning humidity. that’s my only issue.
