How to remove scale & Clean:
Step①: Fill 0.5L water and a drop of detergent into the kettle, wash the interior of the kettle thoroughly with a sponge and rinse it clean;
Step②: Fill 1.7L water, some vinegar or citric acid into the kettle, boil the water and then discard it;
Step③: Boil a pot of plain water once or twice and discard it to remove any remaining vinegar odor or taste.

This electric tea kettle Is way underpriced!It is leagues beyond the standard, all-plastic tea boiler with coils inside.* It is a next generation technology with inductive heating at the bottom for unteathered use (carry water to table without unplugging it).* All steel water container. Easy to clean since the coils are hidden -- they don't have to actually dip into the water to heat it.* Solid manufacturing, the design engineer inside of me is very impressed. So elegant!****** Its beautiful! From a designer point of view. The beauty of its very simple lines and aesthetic proportions is on the same level as a designer-brand product that you'd pay four times as much. All the other kettles have wobbly silhouettes and gross florishing that only confuse and detract from the visual appeal.This is the kind of beautiful, best tech, appliance I'd expect to find in an airline shopping magazine.I mean, HEY! IT'S JUST A TEAPOT! But its at the top of the teapot food chain. (^_

I love it, quick and easy to heat water. I thought it would keep the water hit for a while, but as soon as it boils it clicks off and does not keep it warm. The one I bought my granddaughter for Christmas does keep it warm for 2 hours. Guess I got the wedding one. But it works and does the job well.

This is my new favorite kitchen appliance. I frequently drink tea and very rarely coffee so I couldn't justify spending a ton of money on a coffee machine, for years I've had a stove-top kettle but got tired of nearly burning my hand on it's handle and having it shrilly screech at me in the other room so I thought, time to get an electric kettle. So I got this one. It heats up and boils the water in what seems like minutes, way faster than my stove-top kettle on high heat, it's quiet, the handle and even the sides of it stay cool so I don't ever feel like i'm going to burn myself. It auto shuts off, the little red light that turns on when the switch is set to on makes it easy to tell at a glance if it's done boiling if i'm not paying attention and walk by my darkened kitchen in the morning after starting it. This coupled with this nifty little metal reusable coffee filter I found in a local store that fits in any size coffee cup, makes it super easy for me to make coffee on the rare occasion I drink it and I can easily make more tea than i'll ever drink in a morning with the kettle. Super fast, super convenient and way safer than my stove-top kettle. Would totally recommend to anyone. I only wish it came in red to match the rest of my kitchen appliances.

Color is cute. I ordered this kettle as housewarming gift to my brother and sister in law. They loved it until a couple months ago it started to dribble really bad at the spout while pouring. I was with them over the Christmas holiday and witnessed how bad it was. We can't figure out why or how this is happening. But boiling got water dribbling out of it isn't a safe or good feeling. I'm just sorry it happened so late. Otherwise I would return it and shop a different brand. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else. I contacted the seller and was treated very poorly, insulted as ifnto say it was user competency. I'm a 48 year old woman who drinks teas daily and knows how to pour a kettle full of boiling hot water. This kettle was defective and I was treated as if it were my fault it wasn't working properly. I was refunded half what I paid for it. Having only had it for 10 months and all of a sudden it started dribbling, if it were indeed me causing the problem it would've happened from the start.Purchase at your own risk. I bought a different kettle different brand completely to replace.
