Easy to use, bright colors, and very cute. The paint has cleaned up easily from all surfaces with the antibacterial hand wipes we keep on hand. It does stain skin a bit, but I would expect that with paint.

Great little paint set! As far as magic paint sets go, the Melissa and Doug ones are a lot of fun. My kids live that there are more color options on these than some if their others. Clean up is a breeze and we have even used qtips for additional brushes when we've needed. It works wonders. The only thing I'd change is including more pages to each book. It goes very quickly if you have multiple kids who all think they are Rembrandt. :)

I work with a group of children from 1 to 10 years old. The kids LOVE it when I bring these pictures for them to paint. If there is a spill, not problem, they are working with water. The pictures are cute. Most important thing is, the kids enjoy them.

This is a very fun idea for my two year old but it does get messy! (Even though it says it doesn’t) if you put enough water on the page then the paint bleeds and gets on the table, but luckily enough it is easy to clean up.

Lovely animal scenes! This is one of the best paint with water books I've gotten for my daughter. It's the best alternative to using actual paints. Before applying water the scenes are so cute to look at with shapes, stripes, and color variation. Not only is it nice to see an array of animals doing interesting things, but I love that the scenes are made up of almost only primary colors! My 6 year old has a lot of fun guessing what the result color will be when water combines the colors. Most pages have large areas so there's less risk of color spreading to other details, but the directions do suggest painting with water only in the largest sections if the child is less able to stay in the lines. For the most part you'd have to really brush and mix across the lines for it to be an issue. I would highly suggest putting a paper towel between the page you're working on and the next page because the paper can get a bit saturated (or you can tear out the page being colored). Great for gifting and travel! I even bought another scene book as my daughter loved this painting activity!

Love the quality of this book, the sheets are thick enough, colors are nice and it is a great way to keep your child busy without making a big mess

I was so excited for my grands to play with "paint" for the first time. This being advertised as "My First Paints" led me to believe the colors would easily wash off. They do not. 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️Not the end of the world, but definitely avoid hands and wear a paint smock or old shirt. They did LOVE painting though, which was the goal. 🤗🖌️🎨

Bought as a Christmas present for my niece. I had similar things as a kid and loved them. Love the pages can be removed from the book easily to allow for painting on one page only. Once the water gets a bit messy be sure to change it or it will miscolour the page.

The only thing that could be better is the thickness of the paper and the paintbrush that's provided. Other than that it's a neat product. My 2 year old doesn't really know how to do it but she has fun with it anyway. Virtually mess free painting! I tried one just for the heck of it and it was actually quite fun!
