I purchased this card reader to transfer years of videos from my Sony Video camera to my laptop. I have to say, i was skeptical at first, but it worked great. I just inserted my Scandisk card to the card reader, plugged the usb into my computer and off it went. I then transferred the videos to a USB drive. It worked great, it has a fast transfer speed, easy to use and a great price. I had no problem in it reading my micro-SD card. I can now enjoy years of family videos that have been stored on my video camera on a convenient USB. I would have a paid a fortune more to have a company do the work. I recommend this product.

Compact design seems sturdy enough. Makes transferring those old cards to a more modern storage media a breeze. All the different random cards I'd found around the house fit great into this card reader. Functions like I'd expected. Even found a card from my ex (good relationship) and emailed her the contents. Looked like a photoshoot she'd done with her oldest daughter at a park 10 years ago.

Ordered this card reader for its flexibility, usefulness, and price. The reader functions perfectly and has usb and usb-c adapter for even greater usefulness. Great value and continues to work effortlessly.

Functional and decent length cable to improve accessibility. Card slots not sprung (click in/click out) and so are a bit clunky and probably not that long lasting. But for most purposes this a good value general tool. Used on Mac and with SD, microSD, (SDHC) and Compact Flash cards.

Does exactly as advertised, with a little bonus to its design, such as a nice little attached plug adapter (if you need it), and I also like the fact it does lay flat, so there’s no hassle in setting it on top of more accessible places. Such as in my instance the top of my office computer, etc.

I work in an office and had just bought a new desktop computer. One of the things I use the computer for, is to add photos to our small business website. I have an older digital camera that stores the photos on an SD card. When I ordered the computer, I failed to notice that it doesn't have a slot for the SD card. I went on Amazon to see what they offered and found this. It was cheap, which worried me a little, but I decided to try it anyway. I'm sure glad I did! It worked immediately when I plugged it into the computer and tried it. Also, it has a short cord that was just long enough for me to mount it to where it's very convenient to get to. Fast, cheap and easy! Love it!

It work on everything I used it on (2 phones) but for some reason it stop working on my older one so it muchly just because the phone, super easy to use

Este leitor é muito mequetrefe. Primeiro q o usb-c é com um adaptador em cima de um usb. Ate ai ok, mas é tao largo o adaptador q se vc usa mac e só tem entrada usbc, vc n vai conseguir conectar 2 coisas ao mesmo tempo, ele toma o espaço do outro usbc. Segundo q o encaixe pro cartao é super apertado, difÃcil de colocar de uma vez certinho, pq ele conecta só a ponta. Diro isso, vc precisa ir encaixando o cartao nele com jeitinho. Resultado? Os pinos de dentro entortam facilmente e depois de 3x q eu usei, ja posso jogar fora. N encaixa mais o cartao sd.

I only use this for transferring photos and short videos from a camera and a phone to a laptop. It does that very well, it's easy to use and decent quality. I don't know about speeds and don't care as it suits my needs admirably. At the price it's an excellent piece of kit.

De meeste (betaalbare) geheugenkaartlezers hebben geen compactflashkaart (CF) mogelijkheid. Deze heeft dat wel. Daarnaast de luxe van USB-A en USB-C. Niet het snelste apparaat maar prima om mee te werken. Inpluggen en het werkt bij mij op Mac, windows, linux en smartphones. Ik ben er blij mee!
