Previously used xtra tuffs and these seem like a softer rubber, but after using heavily they are holding up great. A bit tight fit on the ankles but not uncomfortable.

They fit loosely around the ankle and snug around the foot. My foot are staying warm and dry. These are great for working in the kitchen. The tread pattern is easy to keep clean. I would recommend that you get a pair of insoles. Not much padding on the soles.

I've used these for 1 month now and am really impressed. I've had them covered in mud, water, dirt, etc. In well below freezing temps for hours at a time and have stayed dry and warm. I love slipping these on everytime I go walk the woods. I'll update review should something occur in the future, if no update, my words stick. Added some insoles just for my preference because I wear them everyday.

first, the 5* are for how perfect these are for going to the store or picking up mail in mailbox or feeding the birds when it's wet/rainy outside. and for 30 dollars, they look nice too. i expected them to look/fee a little cheaper; but i'm totally happy with these boots. ONE thing that does suffer (due to the cheap price) is the footbed - they are GARBAGE. i tried them around the house for a few minutes and hated them - so i replaced with what i really like and everything is good. i found them easy to get on with the pull-strap on the back of boots. the color scheme looks better in-person than it does on the amazon site - so happy with that too. i've had them out in wet/rainy and "snow-slushy" conditions and these perform fine. even when factoring in replacing the cheap footbeds, this is a very good buy at a perfect price. if you need something for occasional use in wet conditions - this fits the bill.

I have ordered several rain boots and none felt comfortable because the size was misleading or there was not enough padding on the bottom of the boot.However, these boots are very comfortable but I need to wear a thick sock. They are comfortable enough that I can walk over 2 miles
