Needed a red tie for my work wardrobe to wear with a jacket and dress shirt. This fits the bill just fine. the material seems durable (but time will tell), the color was just right and the length was fine. Just be careful with this material and keep it clean. I would strongly recommend having it professionally cleaned if it comes to that. Otherwise a great purchase at a fair price.

The tie arrived a couple days early. It was the Navy Blue color and I am still awaiting the Truffle Brown tie which now is supposed to arrive either today or tomorrow. This tie came neatly packaged in a small box. Both of these ties are the large or wide style with about a 3.3"in. width at the bottom and they taper down nicely moving up towards the neck. I love the feel of the gabardine matt type of finish, with just a small amount of shine to it as opposed to the shinier silk finish.Re the tie condition upon receipt, it was wrinkled in 2-3 spots, especially over the "keeper loop" on the back side of the tie. Even using a steam iron on it and with a cotton dish towel laid over for protection, was somewhat difficult to get the material to lie down nicely, but I am hopeful that it eventually will.

Tie is as shown, and feels smooth and sturdy. I was worried it would be super thin or have that cheap shiny look once I saw it in person, but it’s actually great quality and has the matte look.
