I got this for use as part of a costume. As a shirt goes, it's pretty nice, nicer than I expected. The fabric looks and feels great, like a linen. There's a subtle pattern that looks like it's embossed on the fabric that gives it a lot of additional texture. The lacing is nice, I like how far down it runs. The fit of the shirt is a little bit small, but I'm going to be wearing this underneath other things, so that works fine for me. If you want more of a loose, blouse-y style look, I'd recommend going up a size. The hood fits well, but again it's a close fit.The only negative for me is that some parts look a bit too modern. The stitch work is obviously modern and while that might not be a problem, the thread used for it is a bit brighter and shinier than the base fabric so it stands out. The sleeve buttons are also a little modern, but they could be replaced with something more rustic looking if you wanted. They're small though.I like how this looks and feels on me and I really like the color.

Firstly, I got an extra large (which is what I normally wear) but this thing was made for probably XX-Large, so I can't even wear it comfortably.Secondly, the fabric feels like it was made from an old satchel or something. I get that kinda goes with the style of the shirt, but I wanted to wear it more leisurely.It would definitely make for a good costume, but its not very comfortable. Thats the bottom line.

I picked this up for a ranger outfit and I was very pleased with the quality. This isn't just a costume, wear once, throw away. This is a really nice thin linen shirt with neck ties and a hood. The hood looks very good both down and up over your head. It's not very tall, so it would have to go under any hats. The color is fantastic with a rustic feel to the texture as well. I got a large and it fits perfect. Very comfortable as an undershirt and would be perfect with some leather. Highly Recommended!

I like the fabric, being 100% cotton it is breathable and comfortable. Stitching seems good, with no stray threads dangling. I am not sure what the weave is called but I like it. The fit is slightly on the smaller end of typical US sizes, with mine being just a bit snug compared to many other shirts in this size, so ordering one size larger is a safe bet, as this type of shirt should fit loosely anyways. The cut is flattering, weight is light, and overall it is a pretty good value for such a unique style shirt. I love the hoody too!
