So I got a black mercathode after wanting a blue one. I called Mercury and so did the seller and they told us they are all black and on the sticker that says "mercathode" should be the color of the unit. So next to the text "mercathode" on the sticker it is blue. I actually had a return all ready to go but the seller was very friendly and quickly got the info from Mercury.
