These have carbon steel blades, NOT stainless steel blades. It says so right in the description.They are very sharp and to keep them from rusting hand wash and towel dry. Maybe even wipe a little vegetable oil on the blade with a paper towel after hand washing. This is an excellent peeler for vegetables etc.

Very handy, work well. A bit flimsy and rusts quickly if you have hard (full of minerals) water. Most people don't, and these will be perfect for them!

Peels very thick, which could be good for hard squash but just wasteful for most other vegetables. Still alright though

Received this peeler, felt a little light weight compared to my other brafly items, noticed on the other side it says Mercer Culinary.
