I continue to buy socks looking for the perfect ones... these are perfect fit, no toe bulge, fit great!! They hold their shape through multiple washings. Dont dry them, I followed the directions so i dont know what happens if you dry them

I wore these socks hiking and they were very comfortable when walking. They were also very warm. I was in 18 degree temperatures and they kept my feet warm.

I recently became obsessed with changing over my cheap bulk pack cotton socks with wool socks. As a camper and someone with Raynaud's (where toes and fingers go numb with even a slight chill), this change is long overdue but it was hard to swallow paying $15 or $20 for a single pair of good wool socks. I started seeking out deals on Amazon before Christmas and, let's just say I have amassed enough to wear all week long and still not go barefoot on laundry day. However, these merino wool socks from Velice might just be my favorite so far.For starters, I appreciate that the wool percentage (45%) is disclosed. I have several pair that are comfy and thick but I'm dubious of their claim to be wool and they don't give any more details. Not so with these; I feel confident that I'm getting a mid-range wool blend. They also feel more like wool socks, dense and nicely cushioned without being bulky or too stretchy. The height is great for making sure they are long enough to cover my ankles but easy to scrunch down under leggings. They are thin enough not to make wearing my hiking boots uncomfortable or needing to adjust them, while still feeling snug and warm. Much like the kind of socks Goldilocks would want, these are "just right" for all the marks for an everyday good wool sock. But are they warm? YES. Despite single digit temps outside right now and a drafty house, my normally chilly feet have been comfortably warm all day! Best of all, they are one of the best prices of all the ones I've explored. I'm definitely planning to invest in another set, and looking forward to snuggly toes all winter long (and dry feet throughout the rest of the year when it's cool enough to wear).

These are thick wool socks, slightly bigger than usual, but very comfortable to wear. Color pattern also looks nice. Works great for skiing trips and in cold weather. The packaging is a bit lacking though, just a thin cardboard box.

These are decent black wool socks. I didn't notice any color transfer, which can be a problem with black items. They do seem to collect a bit more fuzz when walking around the house then my other wool socks though.

The good: The socks are soft, have good cushion, and fit nicely (not too loose or too snug). The bad: The socks are not white as described or shown in the photos, they are ivory/cream colored (see photo of comparison to an actual white sock). The stripes do not line up properly, each sock had a noticeable spot where the stripes are misaligned, it makes them look cheap and poorly made.

Most of these socks had loose yarn inside. These were not really big and are not bothersome. The orange socks are unwashed, and the black ones have been washed. I don't think they deteriorated a lot like some socks do after washing. These are really soft, but they do move on the foot. They go on like they fit perfectly but move where the heel ends up on the side and the move further down on the ankle. That may only be because I have a size 5 women's foot. They become bigger on the foot. Perhaps on someone with bigger fit they would be better.
