I’ve been feeding my Texas Heeler this food for over a year now, and she is very healthy. While I’m not claiming it’s the sole reason for her good health, the high-quality ingredients in this food certainly contribute to her overall well-being. Unlike other dog foods, it contains no undesirable fillers or artificial additives. She absolutely loves it and eagerly finishes her meal every night! The variety pack offers a great selection of flavors, and I feel confident knowing she’s getting nutritious, wholesome food. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a healthy, grain-free option for their dog.

I honestly didn't realize this was dog food and had been using it as filling for meat pie pastries. The flavor was good and only needed a little extra seasoning, however it does have a slightly gritty texture. Having discovered this is in fact not meant for humans, my severe gastrointestinal distress lately makes sense, but there should have been a sign or something on the front that says "Dog ONLY". Gave the rest of the cans to my dog and he seemed to enjoy it almost as much as I did.

Our lab got this from 'Santa' for Christmas. Was a bit cautious as she's never had a moist product. Glad to have been cautious. 1/3 can with a couple cups of her regular dry Pedigree every 3 days was a good ratio. Two days her stool was a bit loose. Looks chunky, decent smell, not sure if there truly is a difference in mixtures.

This is my new brand of dog food. I was using a brand name dog food until I read the ingredients. Most dogs foods, even expensive brand names, use bad oils, plasma, gross pig parts, and thickeners/additives. Why put all of that unhealthy stuff in my dogs body? I want them to be as healthy as possible. That's why I am using this brand now and going forward. It has none of the really bad stuff. It's not too heavy and my dogs eat it in about 10 seconds. They love it!

I had bought one case of this food and it's like opening up a can of human grade stew: the pieces are large and chunky in a nice gravy. There is no unpleasant smell and my dog loves it. Just keep in mind for smaller dog owners, the chunks are big and you'll have to break them up, but a spoon or fork will do the trick. That said, I will likely not buy it again because even though it's made/sourced in the USA- their wet foods still contain the controversial ingredient, carrageenan. This is touted as a natural ingredient derived from seaweed, and used in human food, but some research has shown it to be a carcinogenic. A good article for reference: hoping Merrick eventually takes this ingredient out of their products because I think their overall quality is excellent and we do still buy their dry food - my dog loves it, with or without wet food mixed it.

My 5yr old dog has always had an itching problem since we got him. Tried different foods, creams and shampoos. Pills from the vet. Nothing helped. It got to the point he had open sores on his tummy. Vet said it could even be nerves, and try an antidepressant? Huh?Was told to try this brand by a coworker.Admittedly, this soft dog food looks disgusting, like wtf disgusting. But he ate it and LOVED it. Since switching, his itching has “almost†stopped! His tummy has cleared up, no itching ears! Doesn’t chew on himself until sores form. Most importantly, he reminds me now when it’s his dinner time!My recommendation: if your looking for a soft dog food, get this and don’t pay attention to how it looks. Dogs don’t care as long as long as it tastes good to them! And the ingredients seem to be agreeable to dogs.Hope this helps?

We've been using this combination of products for several years, but the pet store is often out of this combination of dog foods. So, we buy it both places. We can keep it in our pantry this way.

I have a Shih Tzu who is very particular with her food intake. She absolutely loves this brand. I usually have to convince her to eat her food with table scraps mixed into her dog food but with these she just devours it. I am very happy with this product. I will mention that the cost is very high for the little amount received and suggest that once you realize that you animal likes the product to go elsewhere and find the larger cans to purchase. The larger cans come in 7oz and if you order 12 you get 84oz vs 42oz at a lower cost.
