Ignore any negative reviews, especially any suggesting that the gasket is flimsy. This piece is solid all around and it was easy to install. Much better than the lid that was previously installed.

Great replacement for my old one that cracked. This thing is heavy and holds everything nice and tight. I did need to shut off the breaker and rework the wiring for this one, however that was a flaw on the old well cap. Not this one!Took about an hour or so to do!

I had to replace a cracked well cap. This sanitary well cap was a great buy. Easy install. I used a 1" galvanized pipe from a local hardware store to protect the electrical wires going into the ground. The seal seemed tight and the cap is solid after tightening.
