I purchased this after watching a Home Depot How To Video on YouTube. They were double the price at the common hardware stores when I needed it and I couldn't find this size in stock in store. Anyway, it worked for my pressure tank tee. And it's not the cheap, made in China lightweight material. It's pretty heavy.

UpdatedI thought it opened above the rated pressure of 75psi but I plumbed it to dump back into the supply line which is at 15psi. This accounts for the pump pressure relief at 90psi.I know this because the pump switch failed to shut off the pump until over 100psi.

Used in our Well Water System. Valve seems to be well made and half the price of big box stores. Saved me a trip and money.

The pressure relief valve on my incoming water line was dripping slowly and steadily. After researching it (what is the thing called?), I went to my local box store to grab one. They had no idea what I was after. I used the app to find one on the shelf. They were out of stock. I turned to my reliable backup, Amazon. Two days later this little baby appeared and was installed without incident. My leak is gone. I am happy. The reason I didn't go five stars is that in some prior reviews I read about a leak developing over time. My anxiety won't allow me to go further than four stars but it is above average.

It seems to be reasonably high-quality and built well, but for some reason these things never seem to last more than a year or two before they start leaking. Hope this one lasts.

I bought this one after I kept having to return this type of valve to the local big box store almost monthly because they would start leaking within weeks after installing.These are made in Taiwan and the difference in craftsmanship is measurable by how much longer it is already lasting.
