Powerful, low vibration and comparatively quite.Easily one of the best multi tools on the market.I've owned and used; Fein, Bosch, Makita, Dewalt and Milwaukee, (which I've also listed in order of quality).

Did a first cut on drywall on setting 1 with a drywall blade. was extremely quiet and help make a precise clean cut. compared to another tool this tool is so quiet. haven't tried with other materials but very impressed at the quality of the tool and metabo brand at this point.

Be aware that a 10 mm washeris missing. You need to put a 10 mm washer on the PIN or else the plastic neural knob will break off and your blade will fall off. Seems to bewilloversight that was missed. It's a fantastic multi-tool the best I have owned but that knob has broken off on two of mine and a simple washer fixed it. Use super glue to fix it to the PIN

I love Metabo, formerly Hitachi brand tools. This oscillating saw is no exception. I didn't realize Metabo now uses Starlock blades on this saw. I have dozens of good blades that don't fit this saw, and the Star lock blades are 2 to 3 times more expensive in these parts. Yes, I know I can get an adapter to use regular blades, but I wish I had spotted this before I ordered it.

Great value for the tool , I really like the auto setting for cutting and saving juice on the battery, plus multi volt.

I'm a Metabo HPT fan and was using a Rigid multi tool before this one it was good too but not brush less and seemed a bit louder. It performs well and I like having the back up of a lifetime warranty. I've heard the newer model has issues with its locking mechanism this model does not.

Some say the mechanism to lock the blade is too cumbersome - lift the lever, take out the pin, put the blade on, then reverse the steps - honestly it's a 5 seconds job I have no issue with that, coming from an ozito corded multitool that requires an allen key to remove and replace. The tool cuts well (even with cheap blades I got from vevor), is well balanced and vibrates very little.Definitely recommend this tool.

Often I have to trim or fit a piece of wood, and sometimes cut nails. This tool is great for that, without having to be using a Sawzall or reciprocating saw, which is messier.
