They are great nails and cheaper then purchasing from Lowe's. Wish Amazon did a better job at packing the box with more protection, the box banged around and was damaged. No damage done to the nailsSay

Compared to other framing nails the price is good and I never had any trouble with them jamming in my nailer.

I have a new Bostich framing nailer that's been reliably pumping 16D framing nails all day long with no issues (except when I try to nail into another nail). With these Metabo HPT Ring-Shank Nails I get, on average, about 1 mis-fire for every 2 sticks that I load. The mis-fire is either no nail at all, leaving a divot without a nail in my work, or the nail comes out completely bent, and sometimes jams the nailer. I do not see anything inherently wrong with these nails, but something is just "off". I have never had so many mis-fires with a framing nailer as I have with these nails. I am switching back and forth between 16D framing nails and these ring-shank nails and the 16D nails NEVER mis-fire.
