This bunk bed worked perfectly, for my grandsons room. Space saver for sure, now I need to find out if there is a separate trundle bed that they sell separately, that will fit under the twin bunk, very happy, it is sturdy and constructed well, all though the shipping cost way more than the bed, it was worth it
