bI found a tweak in the we for preventing squirrels from climbing my bird feeder poles by wrapping them in a spring toy. These are a perfect and so far have not shown signs of rust.

Put on bird feeder shepherds hook pole to prevent squirrels from climbing up to get the bird seed!100% successful!

The grandkids and I fiddled with these things for about an hour before giving up. The metal is to stiff to use them for normal slinky activities. They won't "walk down stairs" or do any of the cute tricks one can do with a good loose slinky. We tried stretching one of them, but it would not stretch equally across the coil. So now we have one the has gaps in the coil.If you are looking for slinkies, these are not the slinkies you're looking for.

Wrap these around tree trunks and poles to keep the swirls from bird feeders! Works like barbed wire on top of fences but no barbs!

The items are slinky but miniature. I was expecting the original size. They are very very short and 1/4 the diameter of the original size ones.
