Easy to install but much easier if you have another person to help with installing the fence.The iron fence is very sturdy and functionable. You just need a mallet to hammer down into the ground. I used for decorative purposes in front of my home to help keep out the dogs from using my plant as their personal usage. The fence is very stylish and I think it does add a look of elegance as well! The powder coated steel seems to be of good quality and am hoping this fence keeps it's beautiful look for years to come. Easy to connect to each other but again, it is very helpful if you have another person to help you with installation. I've bought hundreds of dollars worth of these fences, so I better write a review. We have the smaller fences that hook to each other in our front yard. It's subtle and keeps dogs out of the yard. They're sturdy besides the hooks needing to be adjusted sometimes.The taller fences are even better with a rod to connect two panels. They look beautiful and I put them around our backyard gardens to save my plants from our dog lol. It's been a few months and everything looks good even in the snow. I hope these last a long time!

I ran into a difficult situation with my dogs jumping on top of the retaining wall to chase chipmunks, destroying the plants in the process. I struggled to come up with a solution that would not look bad, and this was the best solution (although it became a bit pricey - I had to buy five kits!). I didn't want to start hammer-drilling into the concrete of the wall for a more permanent fence, and I didn't want to build anything that would obstruct the view any more than necessary. These work well, because they can just sit on top of the wall (as opposed to the normal installation of sticking the posts into the earth), and they stay upright simply from angling them to follow the curves of the wall (each piece is linked to the one next to it). They are short enough where they can follow the curves of the wall, which was critical. Well built and sturdy with a nice coat of paint, I expect they will last a long time, and can be treated with rust resistant spray paint down the road, should the need arise.

I purchased this fence to provide landscape edging and a barrier to keep out neighborhood dogs. I found the fence easy to install, sturdy, and high quality. It also is very decorative for the front of my home. Extremely satisfied with my purchase...it exceeded my expectations.
