We recently had some remodeling done and noted contractor was not so great about debris, in particular was sharps- nails, staples and the like. These are all metal and in a gravel driveway and deep grass hard to find. Wanting to prevent injury and damage we needed a way to locate and remove these things.What better way than a metal detector? An added benefit we could also locate our buried missing metal lot stakes and find miscellaneous buried wires and such so then was the old internet search and Amazon. Bit of looking and decided on this model. Thought for money best bang for buck. Needed to be fairly loud, easy to use and not leave us going “what, you need to buy this extra item to use it still?â€Complete kit, even the 9volt battery’s are included. Never used one before but directions made it easy to put together, took maybe 15 mins and that was going slow and double checking as you went. Powered up, display was good size font and easy to understand especially for a total newbie to one of these. Found default settings fine, upped the volume and started a sweep of driveway.It uses different pitched tones depending on metal located. Kinda confusing at first. Also when near the sliding patio door that metal frame will trigger it so was not able to use with in say 6†of the frame and door. Once you sweep back and forth and tone seemed to repeat I hit the “zoom/narrow down my target button†as I call it. The button is in the middle bottom row, target lock. Very cool, constant tone when you basically right over it. Found many nails and staples and even a few screw driver bits lost long ago. Located my property stakes too with ease. I’d say worthy purchase, doing everything we need and seems capable of more and no extras needed. Plenty loud on the speaker, has headphones but never used. Can not think of any real complaints then again never had one prior and no clue what Im missing out on but for home use this works great.

Screen had scratches and bottom of the coil had bad scratches but seems to work ok. It was used but I knew that when I purchased it. Just more scratches than was listed.

We lived in a trailer while we built a house. After the trailer was moved the movers left a lot of metal bolts, long nails and other metal objects on the pad and where the skirt was mounted to the ground.I tried to find as much as could but knew I needed a metal detector if I really wanted to find everything. The Jungler did the trick. I found the above (see photo) in 5 minutes. All just below ground so I couldn’t see it.I always wanted to use a metal detector and glad I chose this one for my first. The little shovel that comes with it is good quality too.

This was the second one I bought, the first was a Christmas gift for my grandson. we set up a grid and threw a hand full of coins on the ground then found them all.

This is a decent product. Does not detect metals correctly on VDI scale. Was picking up aluminum and iron as silver. Also does not work around water. Tried using it at the beach and would go off any time I came near water/ wet sand.Otherwise it’s a good product if you’re getting into metal detecting, for kids, or use on dry land if you don’t care what type of metal you’re digging up.

Works as it should, impressed lost my platinum ring on backyard and spent one day trying to find it under snow. Was able to find my ring buried in compact snow within 5 minutes of using it.
