I bought a metal detector years ago from Costco and I was a bit disappointed because it wasn’t picking up things that I could see with my own eyes. Years later, I decided to try another brand because this was pretty highly rated. It picks up everything literally. I found a bunch of Old metal cars from my childhood buried in the lawn along with bits and random metal things. I can’t wait to take this to the beach. It comes with a nice set of headphones, but you don’t even need it. It has a speaker. It’s the perfect weight even my nephew who is barely 12. I had no problem with it. He actually put the thing together himself without any assistance from me. I am ordering another one in a different color so that we don’t get ours mixed up together because we’re going to be having some mail detecting fun together soon.

Nice Metal Detector for Beginners to Intermediate Hunters.This works great, I highly recommend following the instructions and starting with known targets to get familiar with tones, ques, and alerts for the various types of objects it detects. It has a memory mode to dial in desired targets allowing you to eliminating false alerts. It also has a pin point mode to highlight or search pilings that you may have scooped up. It is easy to use and read, but can be a very useful technical tool when you read and follow all recommended instructions. For the price point we are very happy and expect to get alot of good use. I bought this to confirm a property line concern I had. I was reasonably sure I knew where the “existing iron pin†was but I couldn’t locate it. This detector picked it up right away even though it was a bit deep.

I am so happy with this product, I got it as a gift for my boyfriend, he absolutley loves it.It's very light weight , and breaks down to a smaller (travel) size very easily, and it also came with a cool travel bag to bring on your adventures. Ever since it arrived my boyfriend has been using it non stop. He absolutely loves it, and has found some cool stuff. Definitely a great buy.

I haven't used a metal detector since I was a kid. This one works so much better than ones from those days. It has a nice display and really detects under the ground. My granddaughters and I have been having a blast going on treasure hunts and digging in the dirt. I am so happy with this detector.
