We used this for our show goats and it was a game changer!! It makes it so easy and comfortable to wash, dry and trim hooves with the goats.

The headstall is weak and our lamb immediately was able to destroy it. The metal for the headstall is just very, very weak.

It’s a little tall but workable.

The table is decent but the flat bar holding the head piece to the post is much too flimsy. I had my buck up there, he was well behaved. He leaned his head against the cheek supports and they bent right down. In order to use the stand I had to reinforce it, which was a real pain. 2 the bottom bolt for the head post is too low. If you raise the post up high enough for the goats only one bolt has contact with the post making it less solid than it should be. 3. Not as much of an issue but the legs are too long. The square tubing hits the frame bolts, so even with the legs shoved all the way up, the stand is pretty tall. Which is nice when the goats are on the stand, but makes it harder to get them up.

This is our 2nd stand. Overall great. Gets the job done. Easy to assemble and transport

The size is perfect. It's plenty sturdy, easy to put together and light enough to be transported to shows. My daughter (13) is an animal crazy farm girl! She loves to do ALL THE THINGS in 4-H! She had 5 bottle lambs to raise this spring, plus her purebred Katahdin ram lamb and a bunch of dairy goats too! She used it a lot for training lambs, shearing and clipping goats at home and grooming at shows. Also doubled as a milking stand for the goats at shows too (though I wish it had a different head stall for the most part with a feeder on it, so the goats don't kick the heck out of my milking machine because they are bored, sheep are less smart and would stand in it for hours and just hang out.) Way better than lugging around a wooden or PVC or heavier homemade metal stand, though. 2 young teens would be able to load and unload the stand on their own if needed at a show.

I think this stand is too tall for sheep. Would love to see side rails!
