I own a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt and everyone know there is no speaker adapter available for that car. After doing a lot of research I figured I would just buy these anyway and see what I could do instead of modifying the original GM speakers to accept aftermarket ones. When they arrived, I installed my speakers into the adapters and went to go put them in the door. The holes lined up perfectly but the adapter did not exactly fit in the door. All I had to do was take a Sawzall and cut out one side of the bracket (different on R & L sides) and what do you know, they fit in the door and the door panel went on just fine. The speaker stabilized the bracket and it went right in and who cares what it looks like, you cannot see any of it. Only frustrating thing was all the plastic dust from cutting but that was fine with me.

I did not want to make an abs plate for my 2013 Silverado so I took a chance on these. They easily fit my Image Dynamics CXS 64s (5-5/8" cutout dimensions). If your drivers are heavy, make sure you attach additional screws/ rivets because this is intended to fit directly in place of the stock speaker and only has one screw. I used NVX sound deadener on my doors and Stinger fast rings to help direct some of the sound. FYI, If you have an extended cab like me, these do not fit the rear doors because the speaker is a different size and shape. You will need to either cut out the factor speaker or make an abs/ mdf adapter.

Worked great to replace the door speakers in my 2011 Chevy Malibu. The bracket was a tight fit and there was no rattling. I did have to go purchase some #8 x 5/8 inch metal screws to attach the speaker to the mount, but other than that it was perfect!

Good quality part as expected from Metra. Though this part was to be a fit for a 2010 Chevy Cobalt but a bit to big. After some modification to the bracket and the door panel I got these to fit nicely so I can mount my 6.5" speakers. I now have no speaker vibrations

Used for 2010 Chevy Cobalt, fit exactly as intended and was a good value. A couple of things that would make this an even better product/value:1) Good double sided foam tape on the side that makes contact with the door frame would be really nice.2) Including 8-16 screws that are the correct 1/2" length to be able to mount any speaker to this.Would definitely buy again if needed

Fit my front and rear door on my 2007 Tahoe perfectly. I added a bead of silicone prior to installing them to deaden any vibration noise of plastic on metal. Makes installing of aftermarket speakers a breeze. I installed 6.5 coaxial speakers in all 4 doors

Perfectly fine Minus the fact they don't fit my 2010 Chevrolt Cobalt. The website and Amazon do claim they will fit a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, but that's far from facts. DO NOT purchase these if you have a 2010 Cobalt and I would suspect they don't fit any Cobalt year because all Cobalt years have the same door panel trim. Thanks for helping me waste $13.00 Metra.Not easy if your doing a 2010 Cobalt. Any modifications to get this product to fit will either not work or leave your door with out a proper trim fit.. Value for money is at a 0-10 because all I did was pay for a product that made my life more difficult when it was indeed supposed to simplify my speaker mounting process 😱 Adhension is held in by one screw in my case unless you drill screw rivets in the door which is not. No one expects to have to do extra work to mount a product tight when the product is a all in one speaker bracket. There is no metal panel clip bracket Like OEM speakers or foam seal.The main point is this product wasn't worth it for me because it wasn't compatible though the listing and website confirm it is..

Worked good to install aftermarket speakers in my 2015 silverado double cab rear doors. Had to add some foam tape between the plastic and metal of the door to prevent rattling, but good product.

Fit perfectly in my 2007 Pontiac G5! Needed them for a pair of 120W speakers in the front doors as one of the factory speakers died.
