For the price it did its job. Easy to follow instructions. Took care of the job! Flawless look to fill in the gaps on the side of new stereo head.

Works great after cutting it down to size...or grinding it down to size... Fills in the side holes on my 04 tundra double cab that I just put in a kenwood dmx 9708s . Had to grind down the factory brackets just a little as well due to them have a little lip where these brackets cover... Just grind them down a little and it will sit flush and look great in the end... it's not that hard to do at all

I used these to install a Pioneer FH-X720BTin a 2005 Sequoia Limited with JBL system. The trimming of the plastic was easy enough to do for this vehicle as it only required a straight line cut. I scored the plastic with a sharp knife and then bent it and it broke cleanly. This product fills the gaps adequately on the sides of the new double DIN aftermarket head unit. The following may help any of you installing a similar head unit on a Sequoia like my '05 (and maybe other models?): At first there was a gap on either side of the unit, but it was because the whole head unit was too far back in the dash, not because these Metra trim pieces are not wide enough. This is not a flaw of the product, but rather I think is a limitation of the factory head unit mounting brackets and the available mounting locations on the Pioneer unit. I installed the brackets as far back on the new Pioneer head unit as possible but there was still a gap. The head unit needed to stick out out of the dash just a little farther. I found a simple solution. I got some 1/2" nylon spacers from Lowe's and some longer mounting bolts (you need 4 of each). The spacers were 1/2" x 0.257" x 1/2" and came in a package of 2, Hillman brand I believe. The longer bolts were M6x30mm and came in a package of 4. You need 4 bolts and 4 spacers. These were found in the specialty drawers on the fasteners aisle at Lowe's. I placed the nylon spacers behind the factory head unit mounting brackets and then fastened the brackets to the vehicle with the longer mounting bolts and the result was that my head unit now sticks out about 1/2" farther away from the dash and into the cabin which solved my gap problem. Now the Metra trim pieces sit more flush with the rest of the dash surrounding the head unit and look more factory. Note: be careful when you're trying to thread the bolts through the nylon spacers behind the factory mounting brackets because if you drop one down into the dash, good luck finding it. Ask me how I know, haha.

Needed to fill the gaps on both side of the aftermarket head unit in my 2005 Tundra quad cab. The plastic spacers needed trimmed to cut off the 3rd hole extension. This was clearly shown in the voluminous instructions included. Also, I had to grind the metal brackets that hold the head unit in place so the the plastic spacers could seat correctly against the side of the head unit. If you look closely you can see the small portion of the metal bracket ground away. Results look great, I very happy with the results.

This works great for a dual din radio. Doesn't fits perfectly and needs to be modified for a slim dual din. It does makes the radio looks like factory. Very cheap in price, but is missing something else. For my 06 Toyota Tundra, this part only makes the radio look flush to the trim. There's nothing to hold the radio itself in place. Had to use the old adapters off the factory radio and incorporated these things so the radio fits.

These were perfect for my Scion xB, I got a double din stereo and they fit my cars stereo exactly the way I needed them to. They are great quality and an overall good value.

Great installation kit. Fits myriad models of vehicles, but I used it on a 2006 Toyota Tundra. Fit and functionality were exceptional. Definitely recommended!

These fit the JVC Kenwood radio and Toyota Echo I was installing it in. The only thing to note was the stock location of the the stock brackets need to move when applying these brackets and the JVC radio. Once positioned in the correct holes, everything goes together very easily.
