I gave this Metra kit 5 stars, but 4.5 stars would probably be better. The kit is good and had trim ring that fit perfect around my Kenwood ddx-896. This kit has no screws to secure your stereo, instructions said use the ones that come with the new stereo. Since my stereo was a old one I had in previous car, I had to go to the hardware store to get some screws to secure the double din stereo to the Metra kit. Now my reason for 4.5 stars, the kit doesn't let you use your sleeve from the double din stereo you have. Instead, this kit uses 2 plastic pieces to secure the stereo. This is fine and holds great, but stereo doesn't sit perfectly flush with the dash, so you have around(guessing), 1/8-1/10th of inch of the stereo face sticking out. I like the flush look, so that's my only slight knock to this kit.

I got this to install a double din unit in a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The kit fits as it should and worked out well, even with a unit that has a motorized face. In my case, my Jeep didn't have the factory navigation, but by purchasing the navigation bezel from the dealer, I was able to install the double din and it was a perfect fit with this kit. Just a quick note for anyone who might want to do the same; you will end up using a different set of screw holes to mount the kit versus the ones used by the factory non-nav radio, but they are there already, so no modification necessary!

I purchased this to mount the radio.It fit the radio but for my 2006 jeep commander needed a specific benzel. But I was able to trim the benzel for a quality job.

It's not a direct fit for a 06 Durango something will need to be cut/modified to get things to fit and work properly

Not much to say about this Metra kit, except that by my research it's supposedly the best available dash kit for installing ddin head units for my vehicle (2007 Dodge Ram 1500). It does the job it was intended to do, however the fit and finish does leave something to be desired. After install, the HU's fit is just a tad cockeyed, where the left side sits ever so slightly out compared with the right. Not a show stopper, but it does trigger the OCD in me... The bigger problem with the unit is how the bezel fits into my brand new factory nav bezel. The black border around the Metra unit is just a bit loose and uneven with the factory bezel, such that it sticks out a bit in places and pushes in to the touch. It should install flush and firmly in position, but it doesn't. I'll figure something out, but it's a bit annoying to have spent nearly $1000 on this upgrade, to come up with something that falls noticeably short of OEM fit and looks. Hopefully it's just a slightly "off" unit and your experience will be better...

Simple to install. Only thing I had an issue with but I don't know if that was mainly because I didn't purchase the new bucket for the double din navigation receivers that come factory in the durango was that I had to break off 2 tabs on the kit to make it go on. I had cut my factory bucket piece because I didnt buy the new one and I was in a rush to install but overall the fit was excellent. And for the price, even better. I'm giving it 5 stars because I'm not going to deduct anything for something that could have possibly been my fault.

This thing is flimsy. Not sure if I got a bad one or what, but the way the side hook into the front are horribly designed. It didn't work well. Radio kept falling out of the mount.

Works in 2007 Dodge Caliber however had to cut the original dash. Not a perfect fit though, I had to make things work but all of the pieces are there
