Used these to upgrade the factory speakers to Rockford 6.5 inch speakers, so the brackets fit the truck well enough the speakers didn’t fit in the brackets as easy the speaker basket was to big to fit in the bracket but I was able to trim the inside ring of the bracket till they accepted the speakers, install would probably been simple with the right sized speakers as the ones I had measured 6 3/4 inch

Installed in front doors of my 95 Chevy Tahoe. Definitely fit with new Cerwin Vega XED 650C separates. You will have to removed extra mounting tabs on the outside of these fitment rings to make work. Utilized old speakers as template and used a cut off wheel followed by a file. Took about 5-10 minutes each ring. The new speakers dropped right in without any modifications to the inside of these fitment rings. Mounting holes lined up great and everything fit behind the factory door panel.

Had to cut off pieces for it to even clip in. Once installed it still did isn’t fit smoothly.There aren’t many other options.2001 Silverado.

So these look great and work on the doors but trying to put 6.5in speakers from ds18 in didn’t work at all. I was able to use them by tilting the speaker towards the rear of truck and securing speakers with only two screws. Maybe i don’t know what I’m doing but I did cut out the tabs it said to and still wouldn’t fit not even kind of so. The speaker wiring adapters worked great. And made it sooooo easy. As a kit, priced great and would work fantastic for 5.25 speakers.

I know Amazon says this will not fit a 1996 k1500 however I purchased them anyway because I know they will. Makes installing aftermarket 6-1/2 or 6-3/4 speakers a breeze. They are setup for different vehicles so you have to cut off the tabs that do not apply to your application.I installed HK component with built in crossover was very easy and sounds great

Bought to mount speakers in my 98 Suburban. When I went to install the speakers I realized these do not fit a 6.5" speaker as advertised.

This item had 2 size options. I needed to cut off the other size in order for it to fit my vehicle. I used a dremel with a cut off wheel and it only took a couple of minutes.Once modified, it fit my 2008 GM MiniVan, and should also fit 2005-2009 Chevrolet uplander, Pontiac Montana, Buick Terazza, Saturn Relay.I hope this helps!
