**Review of MEWOOFUN Dog Buttons for Communication:**I've been using the MEWOOFUN Dog Buttons for Communication with my cats for over a month, and it's been an interesting and rewarding experience. These buttons require patience, consistent reminders, cues, and daily demonstrations to teach your furry friends how to use them effectively. So far, my youngest cat, who is 3 years old, has learned to use 3 of the 4 buttons: "I love you," "Pets," and "Play." It's amazing to see her communicate with these buttons, though she hasn't shown interest in the "Brush" button yet. I will change it to something more interesting for her. They are easy to change and set up. You can add to the buttons and words to expand your pets vocabulary. I really believe this will prove animal sentience before long. It is that incredible!Overall, these buttons are a great tool for anyone looking to enhance communication with their pets, but be prepared for a gradual learning process that requires time and dedication.

I wanted to test the waters to see if my dogs would use the buttons but I didn't want to buy an expensive set. This set was the perfect price, even my husband couldn't complain about it 😅. I absolutely love the quality of this item! The mat is a think material (like a mouse pad) and has velcro pieces for you to stick your buttons to. Recording the buttons was SO easy. Just hold down a button, the device will beep and you say what word you want. I went with hungry, cuddles, walk, and play. They have stickers you can use to label each button. Some of them have pictures and some are blank. They give you instructions on how to train your dog to use the buttons. I didn't use them as I have a different toy that deals with a button and assimilated them like I did with that toy, since I knew what worked for my dogs. The buttons are easy to press, so when my dog doesn't hit the button perfectly, it still registers. It's been 2 days and my dogs have grasped how to use them. I definitely want to purchase another one of these soon to add more words for them!

These are more novel than anything. But our corgipoo is smart enough to learn how to use them. We only really use 3 at a time to not confuse her right away. We chose ,"outside", "toy" and "scratches" (like to ve petted). She has picked up quickly. We googled a you tube video of a woman teaching her dog using a sticky note with a treat under it. Then meeting the sticky note to the buttons, then eventually they will Paw the button. Get a treat. Then assign your voice and the rest is up to your dog.

I received a 2-button kit, hoping to teach my 1 year old GSD to use them to ask to go outside. They're mostly working - but I have a few issues. On the positive - they seem sturdy enough, and the recording quality is OK. They are loud enough to hear from across the house, and you can clearly hear the sound. The instructions are OK.On the negative: One of the two buttons I got was very, very finicky. From the beginning, it was very sensitive to how the batteries were installed - a small rotation causes it to fail to power up. I think the molding of the battery compartment is a little inconsistent. Second, the button is very finicky - if you don't press slowly and hold, it just plays the first fraction of the recording. You need to be very careful in your press, or you just get a "BZZZT" noise. That's not going to work for my dog - he's not going to understand that difference. All of that says to me that QC is pretty minimal - one button works great, one is a finicky mess.

It did not take long (a week) for my cat to learn how to communicate with me via this every day. Good invention.

This product came just as expected. I wanted to try it out before purchasing something more expensive, but in hindsight, I should have saved my money. The biggest problem I've had is that you cannot lock in your voice recording and it's EXTREMELY easy for it to be recorded over on accident, since its literally just pressing a little button on the bottom of the device. Both my dog and 3 year old have managed to record over my recording just by pressing down on the button a bit too hard/for a bit too long. Very inconvenient because if I want to actually use the buttons for training, I have to re record my voice before each use. At this point it's just a useless product that sits in front of my door. I'd skip out on this purchase and buy one that is a bit more durable & convenient at a little higher of a price.

Great product. Great quality. Easy for small dog to use. We have 11lb maltese and she's picked it up quickly. I recommend starting with a couple buttons first but I ordered the 6 but only have 3 right now. She picked it up day one. But nice you can easily record what you want and change it just by pushing a button. Good buy for sure! Nice velcro pad that holds buttons. Very happy!

Easy to use and record but I did find the product to be large in size even for a large dog.

This button set looks pretty! Love the different color design. And the plastic feels thick and sturdy. My pup doesn’t chew on them so they are safe :p. All six buttons work fine. The only thing is my 24 lb is unable to trigger the button with her paws well. Maybe she is too gentle? Hopefully she will learn to push the button harder in the future. Will definitely buy more once she picks up six words.

The buttons are super easy to record voices for, and they seem like decent build quality. They also look nice, and aren’t jarring to the eye.My only problem is they seem hard for my dog to trigger. I know training is one thing, but there are many times my dog hits the button, and catches the corner of it or isn’t dead centre of the button and it doesn’t my go off. I still usually hear the sound of their paw on the plastic, so it’s still fine, but I do wish they triggered a bit easier. These are one of the cheaper buttons out there, so I’m not upset. I’m sure I could teach my dog to hit it more in the centre too
