Lovely sound. Quality instrument. I appreciate how the Khusi products are a source of livelihood as opposed to means of luxury.

This mallet gets the job done. I ordered two for my gong as well as singing bowls. It’s better for the gong since it is relatively soft. The Tibetan singing bowls work better with a harder mallet.

it is excellent product and right one to have for the large signing bowl. it produces the pure sounds without the hash clicking when i strike the brass bowl. very pleased. the delivery is fast and the web site description is accurate.

Doesn't work well with a quartz sining bowl. Can be used on a singing triangle but the sound won't be as good. Metal must work best with this and that is okay, I will have a gong soon, so I will keep this.

I have a 16" gau gong, however, I did not have the mallet for it. I tried to make one, but could not get it right. I used two old cotton t-shirts to create the mallet head. I would cut the t-shirts into long 2" strips. I would then wrap those strips to a stick to form a ball. I would use a balloon to hold everything in place. However, the mallet head was either wrapped too loose or was not evenly wrapped and did not produce the correct sound when I strike against the gong. This mallet and it construction, the weight, feel and quality is almost perfect! The sound the gong generated when hit with the mallet is clear and resounding.

This mallet appears to be largely handmade, and it is a good look. This is a soft mallet, so use it on appropriate gongs and tam tams. It is a moderately sized mallet. For the price, it is a good value.
